And I seriously thought the OP posted this to taunt it like the rest of us, but that person actually thinks that those rules are how people claiming to be "pros" play by?

Forget it, I'll reserve my judgement for morons who make these rules in any multiplayer game.

Did you read the source?

I just recently made it into the Gamestop Finals for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for the Xbox 360. My team name is "art of eXecution," (aoX) and our sponsor is PureTalent. The finals are compromised of the top two North American and the top two European teams flying to a TBD location and then competing for the prize.
How much more professional does it have to get for you?

EDIT:

if so, WHAT THE FUCK, NO REAL PRO PLAYS THE GAME COMPETITIVELY, anyone claiming otherwise is delusional.

Nothing like getting a kill from a random claymore in the middle of an open field.

OT: I wouldnt mind these rules, most of the time most of those things break the game.

Yeah, I had trouble understanding the disorganized post. Don't care who made up those banned perk rules, still ridiculous to me.

Read the source. It's for Xbox 360. Although COD4 promod isn't much different from it.

I think it's a good idea for everyone to read the source before posting angrily.

What ever happened to playing for fun?
That.

I guess if that's the "official league" play sure, I'd go by their rules if I wanted to take part in their league, but online just for fun, no.

well, your post implies otherwise, and not everyone can be bothered to check the source for relatively trivial things like this, and assume that your OP, when containing information, contains enough to reply to, and/or is clear about such things, especially regarding the hot topic of MW2

If people can't bothered to read a couple lines of text, then I'm not sure why they'd be bothered to post all angrily and offended on the internet. Right?

Wow, those rules pretty much take out 1/4 of the possible weapons and set up. Isn't the point of a game like MW2 to experiment and find the ultimate class set up for you? What good is it to eliminate possibly useful items?

Eh, those so-called 'professionals' can do whatever they want. I shall keep playing the game the way it was meant to be played - fun.

Meh, I really stopped playing mw2 because its frustrating and really boring. Plus the one who made this is probably always killed by these things. He use's his respect of his "clan buddies" to spread the word to make look like he is all good. Plus he is probably a console scrub, pro gaming was reserved for the pc and the pc alone. Rant done.

I don't get killed by any of those things and I play on the PC.

So?

Those aren't pro rules. There is only 1 rule to be a pro. Knife Only. No Tactical knife, nothing, just knife.
