I live in America. So our last election. That everyone voted for our president based on overblown promises, statements that were contradicted multiple times, and the simple fact that he's black. I mean, really, voting for someone just because of their color? The American people made a huge mistake, and I still don't understand why.

And yes, I know I'm going to get slammed for this. I still stand by it.

My kid's grade school teacher actually told her class that she was voting for him because of his skin color. Yay for America's education system! Wooooo! :sigh:

Yeah, the education system is another thing I hate about our country. It's just a bunch of people who want to control what our kids learn so they can more easily predict and control them. And don't even get me started on college general ed...

Here in Holyoke Massachusetts we have the highest percentage of Puerto Ricans in our population then anywhere else in America. We also have the highest amount of teen pregnancies in our city then anywhere else in New England. Coincidence? You tell me.

I didn't like Howard but at least everyone knew when he was bullshitting and he didn't succeed in tricking the whole nation in to thinking he was a really nice guy.
Joe Hockey however I do support, I'm not strictly right wing its just that all the left wing politicians are tossers (actually a family friend is a local labor guy but the party sucker-punched him aswell). Most importantly I hate that ex-television news chick, her arrogance and indeed ignorance is unbearable.

P.S. Also the two major Australian parties aren't really distinguishable enough to be sepperated into the polar groups of left and right, more like 20 degrees east or west, since both of their main (unwritten) policies is "if unsure do nothing" and they're never sure.
