Griefing is fun.

The princess is always in another castle.

Poorly rendered doors are always locked.

The bigger your ego and the more you boast about how good you are at a game, the quicker you will die =]

You always come up with the great comeback after the perfect time has passed.

One thing I learned from every single FPS shooter is that you will usually survive with the same weapons alot of other people try using and than died.

Getting stabbed really isn't that big of a deal. Although usually a slightly bigger deal than getting shot.

Everything, from computers to chairs, will blow up when shot (Goldeneye)

A legendary hero reborn (Amaterasu) will be badass, but the hero's descendant will (Susano)think he's good, but will actually suck (from Okami)

All black people rap (CoD4)

Edit: By "all black people" I didn't mean on XBL, I was referring to Griggs

That promises of cake are sometimes not true. (I had to have it) <---- 50 bonus pretzels to anyone who knows what that is from, and what "bonus pretzel" is from.

I'm amazed that no one has said this, but one of the things that games have taught me is that The Cake Is A Lie.

Also ,hovercrafts are extremely easy to drive.
Great minds think alike I suppose.

[li]Always have a backup plan, either shotgun or staple goods such as grapes-to-wine(Half-Life 2 in conjunction with Sid Meier's Railroads)[/li]
[li]Do your homework. (A Sniper scope for looking ahead, or doing a quick think ahead for the best investment; upgrade station to terminal, or expand to that fishery over there. Again from HL2 and SMR!)[/li]
[li]Zombies are bad. It's nothing like Shaun of the Dead, because they won't be British zombies in Canada. There will be American zombies.[/li]
[li]Be over-prepared [http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=PyNuriXG3BQ][/li]
[li]Backpacks are a good idea.[/li]
[li]Star Wars fits perfectly into the canon theory of evolution. (Stonghenge is made of Phrik and has repulsorlifts inside.)[/li]
[li]Radiation dissipates to harmless levels in about 8 seconds. (Red Alert 2)[/li]
[li]Anybody can reload a gun. Very Quickly.[/li]
[li]Moderators are gods.[/blasphemy][/li]

1) The average person can carry an entire set of armor, weapons, a horse, food, fireworks, and body parts without being hindered in the slightest.

2) All one has to do is keep a body temperature somewhere roughly in the 90's to be a hero and save the world.

-Freelance Journalists learn martial arts when they have killed enough zombies. (dead rising)
-Never pick up objects in a shop or house, however feel free to launch your body at the shelves. (Oblivion)
-Japanese feudal serfs (or whatever they were called) were trained to jump onto rooftops and dance whenever there is the slightest hint that a ninja may be present (Tenchu Z)
-Japanese port towns had battalions of trained bears that guarded the town from Ninjas, but somehow were able to curb their hunger and refrain from eating the populace (also Tenchu Z)
-It is perfectly plausible that a CIA agent could have an infinite number of parachutes (Just Cause)
-Your trusted advisor will not have his neck broken for repeatedly saying "Can't place that there m'lord" whenever you plot out the placement for your farms. (stronghold)
-Sherman tanks were certainly the most powerful tank in world war 2 and were not at all plauged with a high profile that left them more of a target, inferior armour thickness and a less powerful cannon to most German tanks or a tendency to burst into flames from glancing blows. (Any American made WW2 game)

Well even though I've ACED every biology class I've ever been in (or could have if I'd applied myself), I've learned a lot about body parts and organ placement from the FPS I play (Thanks GoW for showing me the exact placement of the oxipetal lobe [on the inside AND outside!]).

Also, apparently EVERY SINGLE MEDKIT EVER IS COMPLETELY DECKED OUT TO FIX ANY WOUND AND THE USER CAN ALWAYS HEAL HIMSELF EVEN AFTER HEADSHOTS OR LOSING AN ARM (every game w/ medkits)

Finally, when on the battlefield, even the beefy man wearing (what looks like) 2-inch (at least) armor can be shot and killed by bullets to the chest (where the armor is) AND if youre playing execution, apparently everyone has a heart defect that causes them to have a stroke if theyre hit by a bullet; plus thier blood will literally GUSH out of the skin of thier legs like thier hemophilic or whatever even though they dont have so much as a minor scrape (thats visible) (GoW again)

P.S. I LOVE GoW and I think it is a shining example of an implemented cover system and if any other game copies it, puts in a CoD-style class sysetm, shamelessly rips of the theater and forge aspects of Halo (but nothing else from Halo besides maybe the whole Marines Vs. Covenant stuff) and can even slightly improve any of those things while keeping it balanced and adding in one or two cool elements (Coop Duh!) then I will A) Crap my pants and immediately buy it B) Play it once C) Die instantly afterwards a happy happy man
