For a game that prides itelf on being a realistic fighter, why in Deadliest Warrior can you side-step during an expolsion from the pirate's grenado attack without any harm?

Do you get dropped after one bullet? Lie up somewhere bleeding and having to visit the doctor to remove and sticth you up?
In Operation Flash point its entirely possible to die from one hit. If it hits anywhere extremely vital like the head... I can be a one hit kill. If it hits anywhere else, you don't drop straight away but depending on where you got hit, it'll effect your accuracy and your movement. If you don't get the medic to patch you up quickly, then you bleed out and die.

Its fairly realistic for a shooting game. Not only that, all the guns work by real physics, including wind, bullet drop, recoil and such... Probably about as real as you can get for now while still being playable.

How can characters get hit with a sword and still keep their limbs?

well I haven't been playing the game but that long but so far I don't know a single place in the game or manual where it explains how he can see. And as for telekinesis, I think he changes the gravity of the object for something. But I agree with you on how he can manipulate time though.

Why do guards forget about you if you hide for 30 seconds?
Similarly why do police call off the manhunt if you get your car resprayed?
How does eating food/drinking water heal bullet/knife wounds?
Why do you lose karma with a faction for things like stealing if no one saw you doing it?
Why will shopkeepers not buy stolen goods yet have no problem buying goods if you murder someone and take their stuff?
Why can highly trained special forces soldiers only run for about 15 seconds?

I could keep going but I think that's enough for now

How do people get around in RPG/Older Horror/Metroidvania styled worlds for a living? I really wanted an answer for this when Aria of Sorrow had a plot even happen in the weirdest of places (it was a place one of the people shouldn't have been in, both due to the fact that getting there required a ton of special abilities only I could use, as well as the fact that she was supposed to chasing someone who was supposed to be at the entire opposite side of the castle. Yes you needed an item from the area after that room to reach that part of the castle, but as I mentioned, only my character could use that item).

Also, who hides meals, money, and items around their homes? Why is it that a prophecy's first half will inevitably come true, but the second is all up to the characters?


And one that happens to relate to both games and every other media: Why do people still live in New York or Tokyo? Those are the first places where the shit hits the fan.

This works because anything that takes place inside the animus is explicitly stated to not be real, so complete and utter breaks from reality can be accepted as it is merely just a game (A game within a game? I love it!).

If this was happening with Desmond in the future sections though (as it most likely will once we get the game set there), it won't make any sense at all, what with the animus aspect being completely discarded.

After month's of questing, I am the scourge of the land. Enemies fall like wheat before a scythe, and the gods themselves fear me. None can stand in my way....except that stupid wooden door that somehow I can't break, even though I have:
A large axe
A shotgun
A flame thrower
Small thermonuclear warheads
Shaped charges
Explosives
Lock-picking experience
Functional legs that can kick and enemy to death, but a wooden door is too much to handle.

They don't usually have banks in these games, so where else should they hide money and items?

And personally, I always store tacos and steaks in my bookshelves. Keeps 'em fresh.

... But if anything that happens in the Animus isn't real, how can the characters rely on the information gathered there as being truthful? I... don't understand.

Unless of course it's eventually discovered that
Desmond is has actually been in the Animus this entire time, reliving his reliving of the animus sessions duringt he first 3 games. Perhaps the speaking during the credits furthers this? Male voices ordering to get him back into to the animus as somethingh was going wrong, and Desmond saying "No..."

The way I see it is that the story events that occur actually happened in real life (well, the Assassin's Creed version of real life) but the way you go through those events does not correlate to how they actually transpired (the paths you take etc.)

Also, if that spoiler actually happened in one of the games it would easily become my favourite gaming series ever.

As I mentioned before, I haven't played Brotherhood, only Assassin's Creed 2. If things are different in that then disregard me entirely for being completely and utterly wrong. =P
