In the game Condemned: Criminal Origins I had to take a close-up photograph of a "dead" body stuffed in a locker, I immediatly saw what was going to happen, but the game still made me do it :'(
Argh you had to bring that up didn't you? That feeling of "Oh this going to be bad isn't it?" and yet you can't avoid it and when it happens you still get knocked out of your chair. That was not a pleasant moment...

Actually I know this isn't a "things that scare you" thread but any time in Condemned when the screen greys up and you know something bad is going to happen... that instant when the grey appears is somehow sickening

A bit like this that sticks in my mind was the Shopping Centre level when your vision greys and suddenly there's a bunch of mannequins surrounding you and you have to walk past them wondering if they'll attack you. I was squirming in my seat when that happened. *Shiver*

I hate it when in AC: brotherhood multiplayer I get killed by the barber, who comes up from behind, pulls my head back, and slits my throat with a high pitched slicing sound. I always cringe.

The dead space regenerater thing scared me crapless, kind of the point, I guess. Also, the end boss was pretty terrifying.

I know that Minecraft is abit under-rated and some of you wont have heard of it, But the Monsters on Minecraft just... just make me uncomfortable. Especcially spiders and squids. I am not scared of spiders, Hell, if there's a spider i'll be the one rescuing it from all the squeaming girls, But the blocky texture of mincraft and the awful sound they make is just... *shudders* Unbearable. I turn the difficulty to peaceful on Minecraft to avoid the monsters, and even when i play online with invincibility and All-powerful commands, Spiders still scare me. And squids. The squids with the rows of teeth and the blocky symmetrical tentacles. Eurghh...

Also, I know Fable is not a horror, But in Fable 2 & 3, Chesty and his special 'games' just make me feel sick. I know its all comical and the like, But the absolute immaturity of his words and the Chest itself is just scary. And the Sunset house from Fable 3, in the bad side. I cannot stand being there. It made my skin crawl just having my character stand there. Also, the bloodstone demon door event from Fable 3 with the winter house is just awful. Scary and uncomfortable.

Also, Dead Space with the fake 'corpses' and the Hunters, as forementioned.

And finally Oblivion, in the ancient dungeons and ruins. They are dark and the traps make me shake and jump.

Whenever I can see the blindingly obvious ambush/horror scene but have no choice but to walk straight into it.

Running into an unexpected sex scene while playing on a big screen tv with the rest of the family in the room. I'm looking at you, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

So awkward.

Giant Spiders, if they're realistic/detailed enough. Like the ones in Dragon Age.

I'm highly arachnophobic, see.
I second this because I am too!

When there's a scene in which the characters are all emotional or crying.
It always just makes me cringe ;__;

Oh, that and fantastically badly scripted dialogue and superbly unlikeable characters with the charm, grace and wit of a pickled ass. I'm looking at you, Star Ocean: The Last Hope.

I was playing call of duty black ops multiplayer. (yes I know not scary or freaky right)

The map was Hanoi, 6 Vs 6 hardcore TDM. I started sprinting around, and around, and around some more. No gun fire at all. I run to pretty much all the buildings. almost a minute rolls by without even a single shot going off. I start to feel really really uneasy. "oh shit someone is totally flippin stocking me or the other team is just really good at camping". Then all of the sudden...*BAM* I'm waiting to respawn. No idea where the round that entered my skull came from.

Its freaky-er when a game thats not supposed to be unsettling makes you suddenly rethink your former security. Its definitely odd that in a small map like that, with me running around and checking the houses and corners that my team nor the other team made contact for more than a minute.

That bit in Bioshock where I was
forced to kill Andrew Ryan. I'm a technical pacifist, but never would I have lodged a golf club into the guy's skull.

Also almost every part involving the Desian's human ranches in Tales of Symphonia, normally when everything's gone to hell in a hand basket and you've basically screwed over an entire town.

Also bad voice acting and acts of utter stupidity that even I, being one of the most incapable people in the world, could avoid or overtake. Also, in games where I can't do crap or the crap I do means crap, like when I'm forced to eat Mystery Food X in Persona 4, despite violating every health regulation from here to the end of all time.

The part in Bioshock where, if you pick up the recording, you here....a child, being made to kill a puppy under the effects of mind control. I've played that game three times and that bit upsets me every time.
You do realise that that child is
The main character, right?

Water creatures. I'm deathly afraid of deep water, and whenever I swim in games I'm afraid of some giant sea-monster eating me.
This greatly affects me to and I've been made fun of by my friends for making them play parts of my games that include deep water in them. You never know what's just under the water's surface...

Sometimes a character's actions will make me enjoy the game less, and occasionaly make me feel uneasy.
One scene in God of War 3 springs to mind, in which Kratos murders an innocent woman in a manner that is both ridiculously sadistic and also completely pointless springs to mind.
I also hated Nico Bellic in GTA4, or at least how inconsistant his character was, one minute he's a lost soul yearning for a chance at a better life, the next he's murdering people just because some cocaine dealer he just met told him to.
Amazing that Rockstar also created John Marston, one of the best protagonists I've ever seen in a game.

Children. It seems that children in games are always either extremely creepy or just annoying.
