Super Smash Bros. Brawl. You broke my heart Nintendo. You broke my heart. Those delays...they raised my expectations...maybe it was my fault...Oh God...I think I might cry. It hurts so much.

FPS games for being cesspools of all things immature and mindless. Even if an FPS were to come out with actual walking, jumping, and at least logical movement, there's always going to be the 95% playerbase that abuses the hell out of the dance/bunnyhop crap.

The fact that the game manual now entirely consists of a picture of the controller and the helpline numbers. I remember back when i would sit for an hour memorising all the little details about the characters, weapons, etc. now i can finish it before the games even loaded.

Spiderman 3, I'll never get over how crappy that game was.

Also WWF No Mercy for the N64, I loved WWF Wrestlemania 2000 and was too excited for the sequel, I spent hours creating a character, then spent hours playing the campaign, only to have the buggy arse of a game erase my created character half way through the story and it would do this every single fucking time. To this day it still makes me rage just thinking about it.

Silicon Knights for focusing on Too Human instead of the next installment of Eternal Darkness. *grumbles*
That game was awesome! Silicon Knights can go screw itself for not making a sequel.

...Maybe I could summon it with a spell...?

OT:Fucking Krystal in Starfox. I could never look at that series seriously again...

Sofia Lamb from Bioshock 2

Initially, I was wary of there being a sequel to that game in the first place. But since I love the series that much, I decided to give it a go anyway. It wasn't as good as the first game, but I was expecting that. What I wasn't expecting was... her.

I hated her. And not just because she was the main villain, but also because of her very existence. Especially because the developers decided to add a couple of audio logs where she has a debate with Andrew Ryan and manages to out-speech him. And keep in mind that we never even heard of her in the previous game. That was just a step too far to try and retcon Andrew Ryan's awesomeness.

Every big name game that spawned 50 bastard off-spring.

Fanwanking - when people think it's a kickass idea to persistently cross franchises together like Soul Calibur and Star Wars, or the upcoming Tekken and Street Fighter. What?

Inconceivable plotlines. See Legacy of Kain for more details.

Broken games. Neverwinter Nights 2 + both expansion packs, especially the retail version. No debugging was done whatsoever (Steam version wasn't any better though).

I realize now the folly of my ways for liking MW2 so much and that being said, I have to say that I finally realized that Activision cannot be forgiven for MW2 and all crimes that it's sparked. For example:

$15 dollar map packs that are actually worth at least $5 dollars, no more than $8.99

For making such a bad game become so popular that millions of people play it and forcing the greedy sons a' bitches over at Activision to think that pay to play on an FPS is a good idea.

Retarded killstreaks and killstreak whoring.

Not play-testing their game before release.

Making me waste hundreds of hours of my life practically worshiping a piece of shit.

I find Activision guilty of Douche-baggery in the first degree.
i second that judgement.
I used to love that series, but MW2 was the straw that broke the camel's back. All the little kids spamming my inbox with 10th prestiege lobby shit, all the camping, all the people playing objective based matches just so they can camp and get kill streak rewards. It was an okay game, but its not the greatest thing ever and i hate how so many people act like it is.

Cheap and imbalanced weapons in multiplayer. Grenade Launchers, MW2 secondary Shotguns, Claymores, WaW MP40... there's a lot of examples. Some of them, like the MP40, can literally break the entire game.

In GTA4, the car physics are not very good at all. Also, Bruce Kibbutz...WHY?!? Shame really as I really like it. Also - strippers are supposed to finish with less clothes on than when they started, not the same amount. All they are, are dancers who perform in their knickers.

Mass Effect 2 - Great game but the planet-scanning is a load of arse. Bring back the Mako if only to break up the cover-based shooting sections a bit.

Any game with Pokemon characters in, simply for ensuring the stupid fucking things stay in the spotlight.

- Criterion pulling a bait-and-switch and refusing to release Big Surf Island and Cops & Robbers for Burnout Paradise on PC.
- Saint's Row 2 (on PC, again) not getting the DLC.

Basically that, really. Anything where things for a game on consoles aren't released for the same game on PC. I'm slightly peeved that Forza 2/3 and Gran Turismo 5 aren't available for PC, but I don't suppose I can really blame them for those...

Video game movies which then inspire games to follow the awful movies and result in video game movie games.

Basically, Uwe Boll's entire career.
