And the whole "killing herself because humanity needs her dead to inspire her daughter thing" doesn't work ether. I don't think that dying heroiclly/mysteriously, and killing yourself back on Earth would have the same effect on her daughter. It's not exactly an inspiring result. It wasn't her death that inspired her but the way she died. You can't just say "Well she's dead know. That's all that mattered, right?" It's not like she had enough time to right a note explaining her actions and if someone read it they probably would just brush it off with presumptions that she was crazy, regardless of the fact that she should be on Mars. What with the publics ability to just brush off strange occurances in the Doctor Who universe.
I don't mean to rant at you, I love Doctor Who and Tennant's ability to act is just oustanding. Which just makes it all the more dissapointing when you think about it. It's just a shame.

So, no, Christmas is not a religious festival anymore. And even if it was, considering that Harry Potter is just a book, it could simply be the author trying to establish connection between the characters and the readers.
I liked the series and it was a great idea overall, but the final book felt like the author was desperately trying to tie up all the loose ends in both the books and the films which got a little annoying.Tallim said:

I'm pretty sure he didn't have a gun, that was just an excuse they made so they could also put up wanted posters of him in the muggle world. Because saying that "escaped prisoner/murderer armed with a magic wand' wouldn't exactly create that much impact in the muggle world. Or something like that. No, they describe the gun in a way to explain it to a wizard, so he probably had an actual gun. Remember Sirius was a lot smarter than the others, so he would know having a gun would help.
