Because you're a man, you only think about sex, and you're a fucking terrible person.
Because you're a woman, you drain men's money, and you're shallow.
Because you haven't had sex, you're a creep.
Because you drink, you're a failure.

Everyone's had lies thrown at them from time to time, huh? Because of something you are or something you do, you're clearly guilty of certain crimes.

I fucking hate people lying about me like that.

What are you accused of? How do you feel about such accusations?

I stand accused of never accepting responsibility for my failure to attract a woman. I'm also guilty of only thinking about sex because I'd like to have sex, being a creepy loser who doesn't try hard at anything just because I've given up hope of being successful at relationships, I'm accused of blaming aspergers on everything for simply having it, and apparantly I'm also "a fag" because I believe in being civil in online games.

And I am fucking sick of it. I'm sick of people telling lies about me. People just fucking judge and judge and judge, even when they're blatantly wrong, even when I have said something to the contrary. Nobody goddamn thinks.

I do indeed know that feel. I want to be an actor, and to a lot of people apparently being serious about wanting to become an actor means I am an immature waste of space who'll never be good at anything useful and who refuses to grow up. Oh, and not to mention a stuck-up prima-donna... and a gay.

As to how I feel about it? Meh, we'll see. I obviously think a lot of it is unfair but I'd be lying if I said all of it was completely unfounded. I loved playing pretend when I was a kid, and I would sometimes dress up and adopt alternate personas for days on end (seriously I wouldn't even respond to my real name, a method actor even then), and I can't put my finger on any point when I really grew out of it, so I guess my aspirations are a natural extension of that. Doesn't mean I'm not serious about it, and it doesn't mean it's not a perfectly valid aspiration, but yeah, maybe a part of me does refuse to grow up, and it's that part of me that's kept me sane on this fucked up planet for 18 years so I wouldn't have it any other way.

Edit: I see you have edited your post, therefore in the interests of fairness I will edit mine also :)

the sexist attitude that all women are x

you know what? thats fucking retarded, the minute somone says somthing like that (especially in regards being gossiping, money eating harpies) then you really are an ass

because saying all women is x is pretty much saying 51% of all humans are a certain way...and in a way such generalisations are dehumanising, as your rejecting the Idea that women are like you in any way shape or form

makes my blood boil I swear

Obviously because I'm a female gamer I only do it to impress men, and I have to beat the guys off with a stick because they're always throwing themselves at me.

I find this assumption irritating and hilarious at the same time. It's so untrue it's funny. It's like people think dudes get on one knee as soon as they see me holding a controller.

Oh, and also, I'm a feminist so I hate dudes. Despite half the people I love the most in this life being male, I guess I hate them too. This one bothers me slightly more, but you learn to live with it.

I did not her! It's not true, it's bullshit! I did not hit her! I did naaaaht. Oh hi Mark!

But really... hmm. Nothing in particular with any sort of consistency.
Haha, what a story Mark.

Yeah, I'll have to go with this. I've been accused of a lot of things, but they're usually either occasionally true or just insults against my character.

I have found that most women identify themselves as feminists. Also that when guys refer to feminists it is generally towards the feminists who are actively out protesting in some form or another and not really women who simply label themselves as such.

I don't think that falls into the same category as what the OP is talking about. They're adopting the label of an existing, vocal political ideology. To then complain about others assuming that they follow the precepts of said ideology is a little silly, since it's a reasonable assumption to make. It's like proudly proclaiming you're a republican, then getting pissy that you have to specifically state that you're not against abortion, oppose the death penalty, or support taxing the most wealthy.

The problem with claiming labels like that as a shortcut is that they don't end up being shortcuts unless you DO toe the party line in every respect.

I think the one I hate most is
"oh you play games? you have no life"
It just makes no sense at all whatsoever, they're stereotyping to the highest degree, apparently to them anyone who likes to spend weekends playing video games must be a "loner, shut in". What if I just don't like going out and spending all my money? Parties don't appeal so much to me when it's with a bunch of strangers and god damn it I'm not even 18 yet why should I be out doing grown-up stuff I WANT FUN.

So yeah, calling someone x for not enjoying something that you enjoy.

People have accused me of being boring, mostly because I don't drink, or smoke, or party, or get angry when I'm being insulted. That's fine. I don't hold it against them, because I can plainly see why they'd say it. If I were them, seeing me from their perspective, I'd say I was boring too. :p

Although I dislike it it when people accuse me of being immature. Childish I can accept, but being childish and immature are two different things (to me at least).

EDIT: One more thing! I just remembered it. People see me and naturally assume I play or at least played WoW. I've never played that game in my life! I've played MMOs, but not WoW. And no matter how much I tell them that, that don't believe me! Grrrr!

what?...NO I fucking HATE MMO's...I belive its a scum genre that needs to be put in the same dusty copboard as adventure games (actually not really since alot of people enojoy them)

but still...prefering PC doesnt mean I like a certain genre just because its the biggest one on that platform...I like anything...jsut on PC

I was called a teenaged girl with daddy issues for being a feminist on this very site, despite having neither daddy issues nor a vagina (somewhat hyperbole, but yes, that happened).
People seem to think that being good in school means you automatically should be able to do any type of landscaping job with minimal help. People are very wrong.

Stuff that is said to me repeatedly.

1. You will never get a girlfriend.
2. You have no life.
3. You hack in every game you play.
4. Nobody will ever want to be your friend.
5. You're gay.
6. OMG YOU PLAY PC?? YOU MUST PLAY DIABLO 3!!1!one!
7. You're boring. Stop it.
8. You're an asshole.

1, I have a girlfriend at the moment.
2, Partially true, but not that much.
3, I'm just good at the game, cry some more and get better.
4, See point one.
5, See point one again.
6, I never want to play that game. It looks boring.
7, No, you are boring and I don't see the point in not being a boring person around you.
8, Yes, and deal with it.

SO YEAH, a lot of stuff is said towards me, but not much is true. I find it quite funny to hear all of that.

EDIT: Also, since I'm good with computers, people flock to me any time there is a problem with their computer.

I don't know if it counts, but apparently I'm disrespectful sometimes. You see, when somebody does something stupid and/or has a faulty logic in an argument, I point it out. It makes people feel bad and then I'm disrespectful.

What really grinded my gear when I was between 13-17 were those girls that claimed I had no life because I enjoyed videogames. You know the type: tons of make-up and superficial charm, care more about popularity than grades etc... Plastic girls is how I call them.

Anyway, even though I gamed, I still went out. And when I gamed, I gamed with friends, sometimes did Lan parties, or just joined a server in CSS. When I asked them what they did in their free time, they answered that they watch tv etc... I mean come on, how is that "having a life"?

I also realized that when people say "have a life", they mean "have my life, because if other people have the same lifestyle choice that I have and make the same mistakes that I've made, I don't have to feel to insecure about myself because other people live this way too. "

Guess who has almost finished studying Biomedical Science. Guess who's working in a low end job.

Also People saying I look depressed and I have to cheer up. IT'S JUST HOW MY FACE IS, DAMNED ! I'm actually quite cheerful, I just don't smile like a moron if I don't have too.

1. I expect perfection from a man hence why I struggle to get one. I do not - I just don't want to go out with somebody because it is expected of me. There is a difference between being friendly and flirty!

2. I have no social life or friends. I have friends and a social life I just prefer to sit at home and chill after a forty hour week at work!

3. I'm gay because I don't get up an hour early before work to apply my makeup. I don't wish to impress anybody at work - I put my face on when I go out in the evening for a drink.
