Things that get no (very little) hate

What are some movies, bands, songs, games, whatever that seem to never had something bad said about it ? Or atleast seem generally liked.

It seems that most things today are divisive, but there has to be something that most people can all like.

Indie-anythings.

I've never come across hate for an independent game, band/song or movie. They all seem remarkably praised for their artistic quality, individualism, deep personal meaning, structure, moral, intellectualism etc. etc.

Mass Effect.

I've yet to encounter anyone besides me who doesn't like that game.

Me, me! I dislike Bioware, Mass Effect especially.

Well, let me break that by saying that I think indie bands are all shallow, pretentious douchebags who think expressing their independence by rebelling against some unfair, conspiring government and "general society" makes them more special. At least the ones that apply.

OT: I would say that Extra Credits doesn't really get any hate anymore.

Edit: b4 i get in trouble for a low content post, I think they are crap but seem to stand alone on it.

2nd Edit: Many ppl are quoting that they get hate for selling out after black... between load and reload etc etc. I meant their entire body of work not just the more recent stuff. Even most haters praise their original work of which I think is complete crap as well.

Final Fantasy 13 gets a ton of "love". Lots of people "love" this game. I for one love this game as well.

Heavy Rain seems to get a lot of love, which is quite a feat considering there's a 2 minute scene in the game where you just sit there and watch a kid do homework. And it starts with 2 hours of walking around houses and setting tables and opening fridges and generally doing things that are basically the opposite of exciting or interesting in any way, shape, or form.

Valve and Bioware seem to be the most beloved companies on the Escapist, and when someone inevitably does try to express their discontent with them, they just get flamed into oblivion. Also, the Beetles, the Old Spice guy, Ico and The Shadow of the Colosuss and Final Fantasy 7 seem pretty much immune to hatred.

Indie-anythings.

I think most Indie material avoids hate because it's really only the people who want and like it who find it and consume it. People who might take a disliking to it just choose not to involve themselves with it entirely, and do not form any opinion of it for that reason.

Shikamaru Nara of Naruto.

It is very hard to find people who hate him. Heck, I've found several times where people bash the Naruto stuff, but still love this guy.
