Crazy Bones, when they came out they were awesome. I just saw new ones at a store the other day, and they look so sucky and so deviated from the originals.

I agree. That, and dead baby jokes. I never thought dead baby jokes were funny.

I've noticed that Quality Flash Animation is almost gone, I remember when Legendary frog, John & Richie, and the Super Flash Bros. were updating around 7 times per year. (Perfect Kirby 4 for has been in the works for 8 years now)
Now we're stuck with unfunny trash like Egoraptor.

1989 to 1996 was a great time to be young. Too bad traditional animation has fallen out of style.

Agreed.

Everything must be rendered using software in order for it to be decent apparently.

You misunderstand how much computers were used before Toy Story became popular.
But the point is that traditional ink and paint are far more rare than they used to be, making it to the big screen.

Working hard. Kids these days want their games simple and bloody! Back in my day we had to work hard for our blood!

while thease films were awsome I think there was actually a downside (a kind of theory I came up with)

I think because disney pretty much had a monopoly on the traditional animation thing in America, even non-disney animated films did kind of follow the style

it was pretty much set in the mindset that Animation=cartoons=for kids

I doubt a traditionally animated film that tried to go for a mature audience wouldn't have done so great in the west

now days I think this is slowly changing with CGI films, thansk to PIXAR they set the bar higher, making great films worthy of oscars (not that The best disney films were not great )

but anyway I think breaking free from the label of "disney" allowed films to be a little more "mature" (ok after the whole craze with talking animals with celebrity voices and crude pop culutre references)

ok Ive lost track of where I was going but anyway I think we are slowing getting towards animated films being more than "kids" entertainemnt or even "family" entertainment

There's still a few good topical ones.

An example:

"Dear Nasa,
Your mum thought I was big enough!
Pluto"

first aid packs are on the cusp of dying out, I hope they make a strong resurgence, the "strawberry jam" model works for a few games but I need a little more risk vs reward.
