Sweet things make me smile: trading "I love yous" with my friends, getting lost and trying to find my way back home, cute songs, cute animals, seeing people in love.
Love for myself makes me smile too: knowing I have control over my life, knowing there are so many things I love to do (music, languages, math, lots more <3), knowing lots of people love me and I love them (although it would be okay to have even just one person; the fewer people you love, the stronger the quality of your friendship can be), knowing that it's okay for me to be sad.
And of course, schadenfreude. Everybody loves a good dose of schadenfreude.

Agreed. It also makes me harmonic and a tad sleepy. Then there is sunshine, my cats, mother nature, and whenever the principle of love is present. Beauty can really make me happy, and that often brings out the tears of joy as well. The miracle of life in a newborn baby, and the love of its parents. The love between any individuals. Certain people who are just so wonderful. Yeah.. those are some things.

The fact that I'm alive and able. Sure things piss me off, but it's the same with everyone. I smile because I'm alive, because it's sunny outside, because I have friends who are tolerant of my erratic behaviour and because my erratic behaviour is something that my friends understand. I may never amount to anything, but as long as there are people around me to understand that, I'll smile

Watching stupid people get hurt, nothing life threatening, just enough to teach them better.
Getting my friend's wife, who was a good friend of mine before they got married to give me a massage, she's good enough to just about put me to sleep.
Fire.
Shooting squirrels, because they annoy me with their squeaking at 5 AM, the silence makes me smile.
Watching videos of people being tazed, that never gets old.
