It was a bright beautiful day when I had my last car accident. Watching someone else's car flip over in front of you is not awesome.
Yes it is as long is it doesn't effect you. My worst day was also the day of my first car accident I felt like compete utter shit all day after whereas the morning had been awesome.

Today, nothing.
But there is this nagging feeling at the back of my mind that I've forgotten to do something and it's bugging me.

A lot of my good days turned shitty have had to do with me being at work. Sometimes I think customers say and do things deliberately just to see how much they can get away with.

But the day that takes the cake by far was the day my friends and I all got arrested. I hadn't done anything, but the people I was with had. It was a nice, sunny day right before the 4th of July when a cop pulls us over for "having low tire pressure". After being brought to the station, I had to sit in an interrogation room for about 3 hours before anyone came to see me and I could hear my phone ringing outside the door (it was confiscated after I was searched). It was my parents calling who had heard from a neighbor what happened, and needless to say, they were pissed. Thankfully, this was over 8 years ago and it's all in the past.

When I discovered my Mass Effect copy was corrupted. That was pretty bad.
This, but replace Mass Effect with Crackdown.
This, but replace Crackdown with Bioshock.
This, but replace with a GTA 4 save file at 93% completion.
This, but replace "GTA 4 save file at 93% completion" with a Pokemon VHS tape containing Episode 5-8. It's a while ago though, but the memories still haunts me.

when my PS3 didn't read any disks anymore.

Had to spend 400 dollars because I didn't want to ship it out and pay 150 dollars.

My day was once ruined by a series of crappy events, first I wanted to go to the movies so I asked out three girls who all said no, so I went home to watch TV and it broke so I went to see the movie I wanted to see and it was sold out, also I saw the movie the next day and it was the worst thing I ever saw.
Thus is a day in my life.

Getting a bad grade on HW or a test usually ruins my day (yes I'm an overachiever).
I'll agree, but the worst for me was when my gamecube memory corrupted, and i had like 35 games saved on the memory card

I was playing a game where the game engine started a battle with the enemies on the other side of a wall. So I had to wait, and wait and wait for them to shamble their slow arses over to me. Just seconds after I finally lure them to me and defeat them, the game crashes!
Or when my first xbox died. But what really sucked was when I realized I couldn't transfer the data of my PSO characters over to my new xbox, even though the data only takes up 90 units and the memory card has 500 units.

Parking tickets/citations. There isn't enough parking at my college dorm, so spots that apparently aren't parking spaces get used. I've made the mistake of parking once where I was "in the lane," whatever that meant, and got a ticket from the city. The second I got from the college, because I was parked somewhere that wasn't a parking space.

It's just a pain in the ass, since the college doesn't even seem to consider getting more parking for the overabundance of students with cars at the dorm, which has 5 stories of rooms. I should just buy a city permit that lets me park at the street meters for free.

that, and waking up some days with bright optimism, then realising you're going to spend the ENTIRE day doing something you don't care for and won't advance you in any shape or form, phsyically, emotionally or even financially.

Yeah, I'm looking at you, Roman Catholic Church mass

Today it was work, my boss was in a very bitchy mood. Usually it's an argument with my parents that screws up my day.

I was also doing very well with TF2 just a few minutes ago, heck there would've been the chance I could finally join the clan. But then I jank out my mic by accident, which means that I'm left without sound ánd speech, and for both of them to work again I have to plug my mic back in and reboot the game again. And the server I was playing on, with all those clan members, happens to be very very full (I was quite lucky to get a spot). I doubt I'll be playing tonight.

PS: At the moment I typed that, I joined the server again. Sadly I got my butt handed to me, gods, I missed só many easy shots. Sniper is usually my best class, but this time...dang. Things like that can ruin a day too.

This person's post, right here. Waking up all confident, ready to do stuff, then wasting the whole day on useless crap.
