The name Final Fantasy, kill it off, I always said that by any other name these games would well..not have as much of an extreme fanbase - in every sense of the word.
World of Warcraft - not because its bad, but kill it off now before it loses the magic that's kept it around this long.
Call of Duty - meeeeeh not so much kill off, just give it a rest, it's becoming the new EA Sports titles
How I Met Your Mother - not because it's bad...but...it's old now, he should've gotten there by now, we need structure people, How I Met Your Mother, How I Married Your Mother, How I Had Kids With Your Mother, y'know just move it along.
I don't think theres really anything that should be killed off, more just put on the back-burner for a while. Theres always room for more IPs, get originality out there. Make it so that each gaming gen it's illegal to release more than 3 games of one franchise. Force devs out of their comfort zone a bit

Final Fantasy: FF10 was somewhat good. But the series died to me with FF12.
Transformers: Stop the movies. Dear God someone please stop the movies.
Harem anime: Tenchi Muyo was fantastic, but the harem anime tropes got old to me pretty damn fast.
The Ctrl Alt Delete webcomic: Died to me with the miscarriage story arc.

Final Fantasy. not really played them but from what i've heard they've really been going downhill. With Zelda at least the games stayed really good but FF XIII apparently was in the pre-owned section the day after it was released and it seems to be hated. god knows what the next one will be like so would seem like it would be best if there wasn't a 'next one'
