So annoyed that they've now announced that on top of the main two games on PS2, 358/2 Days on DS and Birth By Sleep on PSP there's now gonna be 'Dream Drop Distance' on 3DS before they even look at KH3... which'll probably be on some console that hasn't been invented yet. Love those games, but they're gonna cost me. A lot.

Also, Kingdom Hearts. It's gotten stupid, way stupid, ever since KH2. There's no reason why the side-games should be required reading. How do people praise the fact that you NEED a DS, PSP, PS2, (presumably) a PS3, and a 3DS to get the whole story? It's bad enough that your plot has become a fanfiction of a pretty good premise, but must you make me spend money on new consoles so I can find out why in the hell you're cloning Sora and Riku again, or why Roxas looks like Ventus who looks like Vinnie who may or may not be the Nobody Heartless shell of a Somebody of Ansem who's not quite Xehanort which isn't DiZ?

There is absolutely zero way that KH3 will succintly summarize everything in a satisfying way for us normals who don't wanna buy a new console for every Kingdom Hearts 2.229: 67/4456 Alliterative Automatic Astral Anecdote ~Stupid little Quote about Dreams between Tildes~ Final Mix.

But I digress. What a poorly executed series in terms of platforms. It's like JK Rowling deciding to make Harry Potter 1 a novel, HP2 a serialized comic strip exclusive to the New York Times, HP3 a radio drama, HP4 a stage play, HP5 a video game...so on and so forth.
