"No, you're not always the only one, you fucking clown" we all know this response and it's actually pretty reasonable. You're never the only one who expresses unpopular opinion, you're never the only who enjoys some bizarre show etc. However, are there any things that you REALLY think "You are the only one who...", or at least "You are one of very few who..." Like the only person in the world who loves to eat specifically red-colored paper, or the only person who loves to watch SpongeBob with Contrast cranked up to 71.

RIght now, I'm working on trying every single beverage that The Coca-Cola company makes, just because.

I'm probably the only one working on turning MLP:FiM's Equestria into an expanded fantasy setting... At least I think so.
But I must be the only one including flying Celtic Bedouins in it...

I'm the only one who really loves Superior Spider-Man and finds it an interesting addition to the Spider-Man mythos. I'm also the only one who enjoys Avengers Arena.

i'm the one who occupies this position in spacetime. as such i'm the only one who can fulfill the duties associated with it. what i do can only be done by me. these things are impossible for anyone else to accomplish as no matter how hard they try, they'll only be serving their own unique duties, not mine.

I really don't like cheese and onion crisps or C&O anything.

I'm seemingly alone in this.

I would have mentioned something about unique characteristics of existence, but Akytalusia beat me to it.

Lets see, I'm one of the very few poor American college students in the southern US who's favorite alcoholic beverage is Port. The fact that I gag at the smell and taste of beer helps narrow it down a fair bit as well. Literally the only one? doubtful, but I'd be surprised if there were more than a dozen or so.

Im with you on that one, cheese and onion anything just ends up being too strong. We must rebel against the foul tides of pro-C&O freaks.

OT: Not a big fan of beef, well anything that is beef outside of a burger, I just find it to be either far too dry, or far too bloody for my liking and I just cannot eat it.

No those things are revolting. Onions should be banned.

I am the only person in the world who bites my nails specifically. I mean if somebody else did that would be seriously weird. I'd also have to punch them.

That one may indeed actually be true, because whilst your probably not the only person who likes watching SpongeBob in high contrast, it's very unlikely that anyone else who does is using the exact same TV/monitor and exact same settings as you. Unless someone else in your house likes it too.

You might have some trouble with that since Coca-Cola has like 51 sub companies that all make different (hundreds of different) drinks between them apart from the normal coke brands. And the sub companies don't communicate or know much about each other despite technically being part of a whole.

I used to work for CCE (GB version) who used to be business partners with CCR (USA version) to share some operating costs and profit, however CCR started blowing it's money on publicity stunts like coke fountains taking away from the profits, so CCE kicked them to the curb. And the only communication CCE had with other sub companies was to buy them out and take control for themselves (CCE now runs Britain, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden and Norway, all through take overs).

I bet I was "the only person" on these forums to know that ... before I posted this anyway.

Yours truly has loved it from the very first issue and has given it the most permanent place ever on my pull list.

Agree about beef too, just thinking about it now is making me cringe D; I don't really like burgers either though :p I love corned beef. Corned beef hash, mmmm.

I have one, I am the only one who exists in whatever time-space coordinate I inhabit at any given moment. Alternate realities don't count, different quantum location! I WIN!

I know I'm not the only one but I'm fairly certain I'm in a very small minority. I liked both Too Human, and the Mass Effect ending. I thought Too Human had a nice setting and good ideas that weren't executed perfectly but I was stoked that it was going to be a trilogy. Until it and silicon knights got shit canned.

As for the Mass Effect 3 ending I was able to make sense of it all and couldn't fathom Why everyone bitched about it and all its "plot holes" and "inconsistencies" I can however, understand the bitching about the whole "not going to be an a, b, c sort of ending" like they said but only to a certain extent. Also not sure how a bad ending invalidates a great game and pretty good trilogy but that's just me.

You are no longer alone in this.

OT: I stumbled across a handy little maxim that goes: "If you ever need to ask 'am I the only one', the answer is already 'no'."
Since then, I've stopped asking, and assumed someone somewhere is saying, thinking, or doing something similar. Boring, I know.
The challenge is now finding that person.

Being a fan of Touhou *without* being some kind of Japanese-export lover. As in, 'no, I haven't played Shin Megami Tensei for fucks sake'. The closest I've got to any other kind of Japanese product is DoDonPachi Daifukkatsu, and that's only cause it's available on the EU Amazon store.

If you live outside of Georgia, you may miss out on Fruitopia...which they apparently still make. I've only ever seen it at a McDonalds drink fountain maybe 50 miles away from Atlanta.

---

This may not apply so much now but back between seasons 2 and 3 of My Little Pony, I swear I was the only moderate Brony. I liked the show, I knew a bit of each of the songs but, I didn't have a favorite character or, watch the episodes a million times a day or spend any money on MLP:FiM merchandise (yes I own a shirt...it was a gift...I still wear it too). Bottom Line: I like MLP:FiM but I don't adhere to the worst (or even moderate) habits of the stereotypical brony.

At this moment though, I feel like the only person who is proud of the fact that I've beaten the first level of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on the NES. The fact that I played it at all is probably enough for the coveted "I'm the only one who". Finally, it was a cart, not a digital download or downloaded ROM. I am the only person who was excited to receive that cartridge as a gift a couple of months ago.

I still don't think I've met someone else who doesn't like bacon. I also am the only person I know who takes the vegetarian alternative because I prefer it to meat, not because I have some moral qualm with eating meat or think meat is disgusting.

Before I was on the Internet and in High School, I thought I was a rare person for having broad tastes in games, used to joke that my tastes ranged from Kingdom Hearts to Call of Duty.

And now I have yet to find some one who has game tastes that is everything except sports games.

Like if some one likes RPG's they mat prefer JRPG's or WRPG's and other various divisions withing a genre, like my only dislikes are on a per game basis, where as it is common to not like a certain series or genre.

I've got a few instances of this in my life. For example, I'm one of the few if not the only person to rip some models from Splinter Cell to make them into drivable cars in GTA and Garry's mod. So it's definitely possible to do.
