I think what happens is they hate it so much that it goes all the way around the hate circle and back from the other direction, making them like it. That's the only explanation that I currently accept for anyone liking that game.Axeli said:I can't fathom why people don't like hating FFXIII. Unless they hate it too much. Or just don't plain care anymore. I am bad at this.

They're stupid, they smell bad, they destroy your things, they make a huge mess, they're too clingy, they require tons of care, they give nothing in return, and they're ugly.TheYellowCellPhone said:How could people hate dogs?

So fuzzy and nice and cute.
I like how you think.subject_87 said:Anyway, I'll go ahead and say Franz Ferdinand
I really despise the song too. It's just Pachebel's Canon in D transposed into the relative minor and thus is has the same "elevator music" effect on me that Canon in D does. To me The Eagles and that song in particular are the epitome of plodding "sleepy old man" music and I like the stuff I listen to have a bit more energy than that (and by energy I don't mean heaviness, that's got nothing to do with it).TheLefty said:I just learned that a good friend of mine hates (not just doesn't likes but HATES) Hotel California by The Eagles.
Oh you sad, sad, blanketed man.TestECull said:A simple car that is reliable, durable, easy to work on, and doesn't try to nanny the driver. It might have ABS and an airbag, that's about it. Engine's stone-age, may even have a truck axle under the back end.
I can't fathom why people think that is a bad car. It's reliable and proven, and it doesn't cost a fortune to build or service. Yet people shun them for overcomplicated heaps of plastic and electronics that barely last ten years.
Here's why I don't like nature.Digi7 said:Nature and being in it.
I'm a massive fan of the great outdoors, hiking, kayaking, swimming, camping, spending time at the beach, seeing animals and plants... And it's all even better with a special someone!
But some people just don't like it. I don't understand. This is the world we live in, shouldn't you at least learn to like it?
It's hot
It's humid
It's annoying
It's full of annoying bugs
It's full of hippies
It gets in the way of driving
It's full of things that want to kill and eat me
It's full of things that bite and sting for no reason
It's boring
It's hard to understand
It's sensitive to the strangest things
The only thing nature is good for, IMO, is scrubbing the CO2 produced by cars out of the air. Well, that and providing us a place to play with our 4x4s. It's pretty important, sure, but I don't want it in my yard.
I love The Fifth Element. I once tried to show that movie to some friends and they got bored in the first five minutes and put on Superbad. I was disappointed in them.Squilookle said:The Beatles

If none of the others then at least Star Wars: A New Hope. It really is a perfect movie.
I also personally think the movie Sahara (2005) got everything it tried just right, and aside from purists complaining it isn't enough like the book, I can't fathom why anyone else could not like it. It's such a fun action packed romp of a movie.
