If you were too take an apple, and enlarge it so it was the size of earth, its atoms would be the apple's original size. So basically, and atom is to an apple as an apple is to the earth.

Because no matter what you do you can't enlarge an atom, All you can do is add more matter.

Well, that was just more of an example too show how small an atom was, you know how big the earth is, and you know how big an apple is.

that makes us officially the greatest people alive... with the best beaches.
Almost only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades.

Changes in the angle of the Moon's (Earth's moon, Luna) are known to coincide with major climate changes, including the formation of the Sahara Desert, formerly swampland.

there have been 17 recorded male pregnancies (how does that work)
the youngest recorded pregnancie was a 5 year old in india
Related to both: a boy in India was born with a fetus inside that could be considered his brother, it was removed at the age of five or eight (I cannot remember which)

It's not complicated or difficult. He's talking about the ratio of one object to another in terms of size. The ratio between an atom and an apple, is the same ratio as an apple to the Earth. That's what he's saying.

Correction, the largest word in the English is abbreviated as 'titin'. It is a Protein chain located in human muscles and has 189,819 letters.
Link [http://www.othyr.com/titin.html].
That can't count.... there is no one on earth that could pronounce it and lentokonesuihkuturbiinimoottoriapumekaanikkoaliupseerioppilas is a word that is actually used and known by a decent amount of the populous
Actually it can be pronounced, thanks to the IUPAC Scientific naming system and Microsoft Sam.
I haven't heard it myself, but I'm going to go ahead and assume it will take over 9 hours to pronounce.

General Electric was the company founded by Thomas Edison and is currently the sixth largest company in the world, making over 150 Billion Dollars a year. A conglomerate of many companies under the GE logotype and owner of NBC/Universal Studios, General Electric makes everything from Lightbulbs to Pills to Diesel Locomotives to Hellboy II: the Golden Army.

An atom is more than 99% space.
Well, it's like...

Take a single atom of Carbon.
In a large open space, there's twelve cars spread out across a football field, and somewhere moving around at the speed of light another dozen baseballs within 4 kilometres of the feild. The baseballs are electrons and the cars are neutrons/protons. This is why it's theoretically possible to teleport objects through other objects; there's SOOO much space for particles to move around.
