Game Grumps.

I really didn't feel like investing time into a youtube channel, but I watched one video and loved every bit of it.
Also, this.

Game Grumps is just a brilliant little addition to my life, where for around 20 minutes a day I can watch two hilarious guys play video games :D
I looked up game grumps from these posts. Three hours and I'm still watching >.>

Mine would be the redlettermedia reviews of the star wars films.

Scrubs. I remember watching the first few episodes from season 1 and I didn't like it a bit.

A week ago I gave it another shot and now it's probably one of my favourite series ever. Bar season 9 of course.

Today I found a Miracle of Sound song Gavin didn't post on his Escapist video gallery, a funny but short song dedicated to RE6's Quick Time Events. As I spend most of my time lurking on the MoS Video Gallery, I never saw this song before, had no clue it existed, and loved it when I found it. Tell me things that you had no clue existed, be it a game, show, song or anything, and loved it when you found it.
The Persona series.

Seriously, I'd never heard of it. Then one Solstice, my spouse gave me Persona 3 FES. I was like "What is this? Never heard of it."

And then I played it. Best Unexpected Gift Ever.

José Saramago novels. Read Death with Interruptions. It's about a country where everybody suddenly stops dying.

The Big Bang Theory,

I went on hoilday in september and spent most of my time stuck inside due to the weather. Started watching TBBT whilst drinking, enjoyed immensely!

Well around four years ago when I was pretty fed up with the whole magical fantasy genre for being mostly about the same things, I found something surprisingly clever, thought provoking, funny and different in ASOIAF. The fact that it was known by only a minuscule percentage of the population helped. Of course two years late, HBO made a tv series and every-Fing-body jumped on the bandwagon. Hate it when that happens.

Nightwish?

As soon as I heard one song from them, I had to hear more. And then I did. And it was awesome. Still one of my favorite bands.
Oh hell yes, I know exactly what you mean. I think I discovered them through these forums, too.

For me, I'd have to say Superjail.

Video games, believe it or not.

Before working, I would just look at the available games that were on sale and just pick the ones that I found interesting and for the most part, it had served me well. When I was able to buy magazines and later a subscription, I was able to learn about all kinds of video games that I had missed out and were regarded as must-plays or part of an awesome series that was still in production. Some of these games included:

*Any Vanillaware titles
*Shin Megami Tensei series, specifically the Devil Summoner series, the Persona series, and Nocturne
* Xenosaga series
* .hack series
* Tales series

I didn't watch Firefly until a few months ago.

That show was around for near on a decade before I discovered how awesome it was.

A TV show called 'Misfits', I often saw that name and for some reason i thought that it was some crappy reality TV show about spoiled bratty kids. Then one day i happened to come across it on youtube and it looked pretty good, so i watched the whole 3 seasons in a week and wanted more.

Egorapter hasn't updated either. :(

That's fair though. Some of their episodes are really boring like the Super Smash Bros. videos, but the fan created stuff is awesome and worth ckhecking out.
