I was having a conversation recently about breakfast, and a friend was shocked that I often (almost always) eat things not generally considered breakfast foods, like pizza, quesadillas, or rice.

I honestly never even thought of it before.

Do you do things that other people think are weird?

Spend all my free time reading comics and manga (and the occasional novel).

Make a 50 kilometer train trip to Stockholm every month to go to the library and borrow a ton of comics.

Enjoy Heino and other polka unironically.

Dress in women's clothing just because I find it comfortable.

Eat the cherry chocolate in the Aladdin chocolate boxes because I like the taste.

I put a scoop of ice cream in the middle of my bowl of cereal whenever I have leftover vanilla from a neopolitan box.

Apparently my bro thinks this is super weird. I think it's a great idea! D:

Also pretty much every pair of socks I own are all thick and very fluffy. People think it's weird that I don't have normal socks, but these are way more comfy, and my feet are like icicles all year long.

I have Tourette's syndrome. I do a LOT of strange little things.

Tossing my head back, shoe-flexing, sudden loud sniffs, weird hand poses, throat clicking. If I don't do these things periodically, my head will explode. D:

Beyond those, people think it's weird and horrifying that I'm willing to eat food I drop on the floor. Man, I've taken a microscope to my hands before, the floor is nothing.

But... why would you have leftover vanilla? Are you telling me you don't equally consume each flavour?

You monster!

On topic: I make no attempt to find myself a romantic partner. I don't think it weird because I have no respect for where I currently live, nor the people here.

I dissect my hamburgers. I will take the top bun off and eat the lettuce, tomato, and sometimes cheese. I will then eat the lower half of the burger.

I hate touching most foods with my fingers or hands... To that end, where possible I will eat with a knife and fork. Including: Chips, Hot Dogs, Burgers, Pizza, Chicken Nuggets, Chicken Wings and things you dip.

This applies doubly to anything covered in flour or grease... or anything else that leaves stuff on your fingers!

Also... crisps that leave dust!! Which is strange as I LOVE CRISPS! (For instance I love the taste of Watsits, but never choose to eat them for this reason!)

When I'm not paying attention, I tend to sing what I'm doing.

So for example, I'll be all like, "I'm makin' tea, makin' tea, can't you see? I'm makin' tea!" all with a jolly good tune.

Ewwww... Why do you eat the Chocolate one!? It's Chocolate flavour... and anything that is chocolate flvoured and not real chocolate should be melted into a barrel and dumped in a deep sea trench!

I eat a lot of ice. I will go to the kitchen and fill a giant tumbler with nothing but ice, dribble a little something over it for flavor, and just sit there sucking/crunching it happily for hours. Soft drink at a restaurant? Fill that cup with ice first. They fill it half full and say "like this"? No, right to the brim, please. And just dribble a little pop on it for flavor.

I get some weird looks.

I feel the urge of joint cracking when I see and hear someone do it himself. This also happens when I see it in movies and even with no real people (like Videogames characters)

I'll take a random sentence you just said and turn it into the chorus of a 70's blaxploitation theme song.

Shocked is a bit of an exaggeration. :D

OP: I have a habit of not finishing my sentences and assuming that the other person will psychically know how it...

I sing more or less constantly. I sing along to the radio or if there's nothing playing I'll just sing any song in my head. Sometimes if the radio is on I'll sing a song that isn't even playing :p It drives people nuts.

I also talk to myself which people have more or less accepted but a few odd ones think it's weird. I usually make lists out loud like "I need to wash the cat and put the tea on and iron that dress..."

That would sound like a good idea if I didn't have sensitive teeth. Which is why I don't eat any ice cream with stuff in it (like Oreo pieces or whatever).

I have a habit of tilting my head sideways and cracking my neck constantly.

I also often whisper lyrics to the songs im listening, without even noticing it sometimes.
Oh, i also have problems making eye-contact, often averting my eyes when someone looks at them.

And of course, i sigh, very often and very loudly, many people often tell me to stop sighing, but i often end up replying to the request, by a loud sigh

That's actually some solid advice.

OT: I guess this thing works both ways, but apparently I'm the only one of my male friends (whom I've had this conversation with) that doesn't jerk it to other, female, friends.

I talk to myself almost continuously, sometimes for several hours a day. Most of the time it's some form of story but I'll also comment on things I hear or see.
