Is there anything you have always wanted to say to an exgirlfriend or exboyfriend? It can be positive or negative.

For me:

Positive. I can't blame girls for thinking that wild things don't bite. ;)
However i can't say exactly what i'd like to say. There are kids here...

For better and for worse, I've always said everything I've wanted to say to them. If I didn't say it, it didn't need to be said, for whatever reason.

Probably why if they were on the Escapist they'd jump on this thread with a few unkind words at my expense. Like many seem to be. ;)

You are a manipulative, lying, little piece of s***. You will never achieve anything, and if only one good thing came out of our time together, it's that I realised me such an abomination as I seeking a relationship can only destroy me, and if there is only one comfort in that fact, it's that in the end, you will run out of people to exploit, and you will arrive at the very same fate, only worse. Because whereas I will have friends, and hopefully, a successful and satisfying career, you will be nothing but a benefits grabbing whore who screwed over everyone who ever showed her affection in a backwards attempt to elevate your social status.

Go chew on a chainsaw. :D

Woah. That felt damn good.

Many, many, many things. But most of them covered nicely by Dylan Moran. To wards the end of my last relationship I did actually get up early just to hate them.

Also, "If you continue to corner my friends to tell them how evil I am and how they should get away before I do something to hurt them, I will literally set fire to you."

Hmm ... I've had the good fortune it seems to have never met any of my ex's again, nor have I had a particularly nasty break up either. That doesn't mean that neither of us were in the wrong, nor does it mean anyone was hurt, but it just means that I've had the fortune that both myself and my ex's don't feel the need to haunt each other like a bad smell. We're done? Done. Have a nice life.

But .. if I had the option of saying one thing to one girl - my first really serious gal, almost got married to, almost had a family wtih, almost a whole lotta things - I'd say:

I hope everything's going great.

(Just don't tell my wife. She likes to think I have a seething hatred for all of my ex-gfs in order to feel more secure.)

I want to tell her the truth, that I cheated on her. I feel like absolute shit about it, and I wish I'd broken up with her long before I ever met and fell in love with my current girlfriend, but that just isn't how it played out.

Depends. The first we were both really young and immature, though we'd likely never give it another go, we're still friends and see each other now and then. Second one was just out to get free sh*t and get laid, as soon as she got bored she bailed. So I'd probably thank her for being an example of what not to look for in between a bunch of insults and swears. Third turned out to be more mentally unstable than I realized and couldn't handle the relationship thing, though the way she handled it makes me want to put a drill in her eye if I ever lay eyes on her again. Last one was my fault. Without detail, I was stupid and immature and betrayed her trust more than once. Only good relationship I ever had and I single-handedly effed it. She wasn't perfect, but she was definitely worth keeping. Though I've developed a less than positive view toward her due to how she's treated me while we're trying to be friends. If I could lay into I'd basically say. "I loved you, but you're a f-wording c-word and you're gonna keep pushing guys away if you keep it up". But I learned something from every relationship so there's some ounce of gratitude as I'm better for each one.

Watch Time of Eve, or maybe I just say that to everybody. Other than that a simple sorry will do.

How about next time instead of leading me on for nearly a month, you just work up the guts to tell me you're not interested. That would have saved me a lot of confusion and frustration.

Ex.1 You are super cool, and I wish we hung out more. Keep on truckin'

Ex.2 Yeah, I cheated on you. Wish I hadn't, mostly because I wish I had broken up with you first. Would have saved a lot of trouble.

Ex.3 AROAGHERHAER *rage*

Ex.4 Stop spamming facebook with status's about your new boyfriend/s. It was old when you were doing it with me, it's still old now.

Ex.5 I could have had a V8!

You should probably not sleep with so many men and find the right guy.

That sounds like a really ugly thing to say to a girl, but it true, and she does know it.

... Aw... dammit...

Ok, serious answers here:

Girlfriend 1 and 4 (same girl)- I'm sorry for whatever part I played in what went wrong, but you know damn well it was 99% your fault. You're a compulsive liar who's spoiled by her lying ***** mother and you can't even see it. I pity any guy that falls into the same trap I did before you grow up and realize how you've treated every guy you've dated.

Girlfriend 2- You know, we would have NEVER worked anyway, but I'll be damned if I ever forget our first kiss. One of the most memorable moments of my life.

Girlfriend 3- Don't tell the others... you were the cutest. But damn, girl, get your head on straight and stop over-dramatizing every relationship/break up. Glad we're friends now, though.

(Can you tell who I was with the longest?)
