I remember a thread like this... last year, must've gotten over 1500 posts before it died.

OT: A game where you fight a stereotypic English guy (monocle, top hat, cane, everything) to a duel.

THIS MUST BE CREATED NOW!

Mine would be a game where you can fire an RPC (Rocket propelled chainsaw) at consoles that have become self-aware and take over the world.

An American game starting English characters who don't speak like Mary Poppins or Hugh Grant.

A game where you can allow multiple genre characters to fight at the same time.

It's a stretch but Valkyrie Profile 1 and 2 kind of had that in the battle system, since you only needed one face button to make each character attack.

I also once made the configuration for both controllers the same on a Final Fight emulator, so I could control both characters at once. That was fun.

Are you sure? True, I haven't played those games, what I mean is a game where you could have a combination of crackdown-style supersoldier, a CoD style realistic soldier, a kratos-style Hack and Slasher, an Assassins Creed-style realistic platformer, fighting at the same time.

Well, that would probably constitute every FPS that came out before Halo. Metroid Prime qualifies too. Kudos to the first Resistance: Fall of Man game as well. Of course, they did slip well into the Halo/Cod formula when they released the sequel.

hahaha pretty much, I mean even an fps of wars between native american tribes or a cowboy fps's like call of jaurez but they all insist on the "modern warfare" in Iraq

An RPG where you could see all the shit the character's lugging around...

That would be fun for WoW, see the head of some one you killed hanging from your pack, or multipul spider legs sticking up from your pack.

As for me, I've never seen a jRPG game with less than 5 hours of shear cut sciens.

Check out Dragon Quest 9. The cut scenes aren't intrusive. Or that intrusive. You mostly get half minute ones at best, and these are fun to watch.
