I don't get children who rip animals from the wild (or see one and ask for it as a pet) and try to tame it down to be like a regular cat or dog. Lizards, for example. They scream at their parents to buy these monitors or other species, mainly because they want a large scaley pet dinosaur dog, their parents fold and get them one (as a hatchling, cheap and wild-caught at the petstore), then the poor creature dies in under a year because it was under stress, cramped conditions, and not cared for properly. Or the lizard bites the child's fingers off. The same instance could be said for a wolf that the parents thought could be tamed and let their children play with it. This also includes smaller species, such as small wild cats, raccoons and similar species, small marsupials, geckos, and the list goes on - except less of a problem for the owners and more fatality to the animals.

Alcohol is great for getting over stress, as it relaxes the muscles. It should not be drunken by everyone, especially those who do not have the brain to know when to stop, but I find it much better and less addictive than smoking, and less painful than hitting trees.

I remember once when I was against drinking. But after you mature, you begin to realize that aside from the hangovers and the silliness as well as the fact that you may end up with someone you don't like, getting drunk is something that every once in a while is a nice way to let loose and have fun legally at least to an extent of course. I would never recommend driving drunk or anything that will impair your ability to perform a task that needs your full attention but to say you would never drink because it taste bad or because you don't like the hangovers or whatever that tells me you never really drank before (either that your not old enough too anyway)ClassicThunder post=18.70720.700654 said:

And to answer the original question about what I don't get.
I don't get people who don't get why people do drugs or get drunk. They do them to make themselves feel better. It's a high feeling, a numbness from the drugs and liquer that screws with their heads thats all, sure it can lead to addiction and very bad things. But most people know that so they stay off of them, but don't ponder over why people do them. I don't do drugs or drink heavily but I don't sit there and think why do they smoke pot or binge drink all the time? Because they feel good when they do. I as a person don't need them to feel good, but some people do. Plain and simple.
Why people still think the "cake is a lie" is still funny
Or, why people think Chuck Norris is aweseome (except the 12 year olds who agree he's awesome because all the other 12 year olds say he is).
