Things you read on gaming forums that make you feel old

Me personally?

When in those 'the first game you ever played ' kids remark that Halo was their first ever game.

My god, there was a whole lot of good (and better) games out there long before Halo came into being.

Give me strength.....

People who are new to gaming don't know about any other games, they just notice that all their friends love Halo, and try it out, then get into the hobby.

And what you think were better games does not reflect on what others consider good games.

Makes me feel old when someone makes a comment suggesting all Final Fantasy games were modeled around Final Fantasy 7.

Makes me feel old when people complain about hipsters, emos, Twilight and many other things I've never had to deal with thanks to high school having ended seven years ago.

Reading the snow in the UK thread thats poped up. All these kids bragging about getting a week off school. I think, jesus school, that was nearly 5 years ago, I'd almost forgotten about that =/

Then I just say sucks to be them.

Life gets so much better when you are released from the shackles of a forceful Education.

Oh it really does. "School, the best years of your life!" Pfft yeah right.
