Toes look like little fingers. I was looking at somebody with really long toes and was like "hey, her toes look like little fingers. Wait a minutes, EVERYBODY'S toes look like little fingers. Huh"

OT: Santa is an anagram for Satan
So what? Santa and Satan, both characters, have multiple names by which they are called in multiple languages. just because two of the names (not even the whole name, which is Santa Claus) happen to be anagrams has no actual significance.

Most hot chicks have hot friends.

This popped into my head one time, I thought about it a bit and realised it to be true. Making use of this epiphany was one of the best things I ever did.

Its only in movies and games. Its not fun being drunk IRL. And you don't get "Epic Skillz" From it.
My dad and his friends get really good at Ping Pong (table tennis) when they're drunk. It's rather odd.

I get epic skills. Or at least I think I do.

Actually no. I get super generous. I gave away 10 Xbox games, a bottle a good bourbon, and a case of Red Stripe (Hoo-ray Beer!) the last time I was drunk.
You too? I also get epic "texting people I haven't spoken to in three years, blacking out and waking up in random places six hours later minus my shoes" skillz.

I just realized that Kevin Bacon is the reason why I have the job I have now.

True Story: The current employer I have started their company in my small mountain town. The year they started this place, it rained nearly everyday of the summer. This almost closed down the workplace I work at. However, a particularly motion picture was being filmed roughly miles away from this place. The movie? River Wild. My boss got to meet most of the cast (He mentioned David Straithairn and Kevin Bacon, but Bacon wouldn't talk to him, but not in a "Prick" kind of way, but in a "I'm walking over here and you see me from a distance kind of way".

Long story short, I have a job because of Kevin Bacon. I can now intertwine myself in the Six Degress of Kevin Bacon game.

Well, technically, anyway, I'm in the game.
Personally, you've won this thread.

OT: Donald Duck NEVER wears pants, yet whenever he climbs out of the shower he is embarassed unless there's a towel around his waist. I realized how little sense that made when I was maybe 14.

So any way I just saw true grit and during the scene when the big fat inebriated Texas marshal shot a tiny biscuit out of the air, I realized something in action oriented: books, animes, comics, movies etc. The more drunk and the more prone to getting drunk some one is the more likely they are to be totally awesome. Has anybody else noticed this? anybody else got something similar to this?
I think that most of that is only done for the movies, I.E. circumstances in reality hardly ever work out that way. :x
I am aware of this that is why I took time to say "in action oriented: books, animes, comics, movies etc." as opposed to just "Alcohol makes you mighty I need to start drinking" I was just trying to shed light on a recurring theme in fictional events that I had just noticed.

Under the wings, to be more accurate.

I also got a lot of games in December, and love that I advanced through my wish-list so fast.
Still not seeing anything.

That in Harry Potter, despite everyone calling her out on bullshit, Proffesor Trelawney the Divination (Fortune-telling) Teacher predicts a hell of a lot of true predictions.

Specifically, that Parvati Patil must beware Red-haired men.
Parvati immediately looks at Ron when this happens, and while nothing between them goes on in the 3rd book (When the prediction is made), in The Goblet Of Fire when Ron takes her to the ball, he ends up leaving her alone. In the sixth book, Ron then goes out with her best friend, Lavender Brown, and during their dating Lavender ignores Parvati entirely, making Ron (Inadvertantly or directly) responsible for some suffering for Parvati.

Also in the third book, Prof. Trelawney predicts during the Christmas Lunch, (when there are only 13 people at Hogwarts that Christmas, teachers included) that 'When 13 dine together, the frst to rise will be the first to die.'
This is initally proven false, as Ron and Harry rise first that meal, and neither die first.
However, in the Deathly Hallows, after Mad-Eye Moody's death, the 13 survivors of the Death Eater Ambush all dine together.
Remus Lupin then rises and toasts his memory, and thus he is the first of the 13 to die later during the Battle of Hogwarts, proving another of Trelawny's predictions.

Finally, in the Half-Blood Prince she says while walking down a corrider and reading tarot cards '...The Lighting-struck tower. Calamity. Disaster. Coming nearer all the time'. This directly predicts Dumbledore's death; he is killed at the top of the Astronomy Tower, the tallest tower in Hogwarts, and could therefore be described as 'lighting-struck' due to it's height.

Extra Harry Potter-related fact: Lord Voldemort died aged 71. Harry Potter killed him aged 17.

I realized that I'm sort of a racist against people who are from the USA :/ didn't say it was a good thing. Although I am trying to change that but change is difficult
I'm Canadian, and I keep calling the United-States-ians stupid, and I was trying to stop for a while.
Then I watched South Park, and lost all sympathy. Entertainment Tonight didn't help.
Well I know they are way more racist than me and that they have earned the hate but the problem is I keep generalizing my opinion about them instead of evaluating each person individually, which means I just judge them for where they come from not who they thus making me a racist to some degree :/
With my avatar and name you must really love me. lolz
