Anime, the cliches are so abundant that you can predict the entire series by just the first 5 episodes. And dont get me started on shonen aka plot armor + friendship = victory. Also video games as a whole. I think it has something to with me getting older as well as the community changing.
What can I say?
Over the past 5 years, they've gone from
A few really cool and awesome guys to...
More guys that are sorta cool...
Even more guys that aren't as cool...
Spoony leaving... (He's still awesome though.)
Pushing up Roses leaving...
Nostalgia Critic leaving (and even at that point I thought NC was getting really stale)...
And a really crummy and crowded site.
Also TV and everything in it.
I hardly watch it anymore. The only reason why I have a TV is so I can play my PS2. Yeah a PS2, not a PS3. I'm holding on to that thing and passing it on to my friggin children 'cause it's an awesome system that I still like.
There are a sizable percentage of video games that I don't like to play anymore.
Anything along the lines of a leveling up system or grinding I find to be really boring. So a lot of RPGs fall down.
Anime. I used to be really into it, and I don't hate all anime ever, I just really don't actively seek out new shows or anything.
I went to Otakon over the summer and didn't have a whole lot of fun, mainly because it's an anime-centered convention and I am much more into Western comics and video games.
Breaking Benjamin. Just Grunge in general, the only music you could class as grunge that I can stand anymore is Billy Talent. Also I loved Tom Clancy books for a bit but now I can't stand then...
Uh oh! I'm mentioning the Super Smash Bros series!
I liked the first two, probably because I didn't follow the pre-release hype. They just appeared and I gradually started liking the games. (Don't know if always winning was a part of it too). Actually the pre-release hype for Brawl didn't turn me off.
What did it was first multiplayer. (Yeah I was beaten a few times on online, but that's just salt on this issue) I remember a person using that double down-c move with Zero Suit Samus to win, a cheap tactic. And with the mediocre online support, I stopped playing online... unless it was with friendcodesimean friends. I remember a time where I joined what was then Brawl Central Forums (Now VGHub), traded codes to fight, he won, said I wasn't a challenge, then asked around for another opponent as if it never happened.
What drew the steak into my heart was the community/players. I started hearing terms like tiers, balancing issues, Melee is the best version, wavedashing
That video I posted is still funny, but it contributed to my ultimate dislike for not only the Smash series, but competitive fighters as well. And I don't know how it will ever be the same. I'll still play Smash bros, but my childhood love is gone and I will be as critical of the next game as the next Call of Duty.
Duke Nukem. Forever ruined the whole franchise for me.

... which you now hate.
For me, it's Rooster Teeth, especially the podcast. I would always look forward to the next RT podcast, it was probably the highlight of my week. But recently I've really begun to despise the entire crew for reasons I will not mention here for fear of setting this thread off on the wrong foot.
But enough about me, let's hear from you.

I've always loved the Podcast. I've never been into RvB, but I'm a little into Achievement Hunter. I agree it's become a bit more... rambling since they got sponsors, stopped drinking and took it more seriously.
I honestly think RoosterTeeth is on a steady decline.

I don't really hate RoosterTeeth, but over the last few months my enjoyment has died, mostly for the Podcast, and I'd say that's because the subject matter of what they talk about hasn't been as good, and a lot of it gross. Now that there's some more substance in the thread, would you mind sharing?
I loved me some Carrot Cake...but now I just can't stand cake. I kinda like cake but I just grew out of it. I can eat it sure but, I always seem to get pieces with way too much icing. Also Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Wii make me not want to play Double Dash or any of the other titles. Sonic All-Star Racing also makes me want to stay away from Mario Kart in general though I don't hate those older titles and, I don't wanna say I hate the new ones...not yet.
Also Gamestop. I loved that place but then I started working there...then I discovered Play-n-Trade...then I discovered Amazon...I plan on getting Xenoblade Chronicles from them and then never going back.
Second all of this... WAIT CARROT CAKE?!?!? HOW DARE Y-
Yeah, online multiplayer also ruined Mario Kart for me. I once played a guy on DS who had a really detailed icon, he somehow always was in first, but that's not why I called scam. I think he was a cheater. I don't remember the guy but I think he always had boosts when needed, very accurate drifting, and he trolled me with blue shells. I figured it out and when I somehow got in front of him (he was probably waiting for me) we got into a little battle of who could get behind the other player so that the blue shell would get the person in first place (blue shell goes after the one in first place, even if it's yours).
Coupled with the spotlighting of rubber-banding difficulty (be in first, only to end up in last on the last lap due to a blue shell) and not figuring out the Wii Rainbow Road and I just don't actively play Mario Kart anymore. It has to be 64 or peer pressure.
People like Razorfist and the articles on Escapist also have me convinced that Gamestop sucks. I'm still going to try to work there though, just to say I've worked there. Maybe it will help in my quest to make video games.
My ex-girlfriend. Zing! Besides that, I thought I would always love Nintendo, then I got the first Xbox, then I thought I would love Xbox for ever, then I got a PC, it's only a matter of time before I fall out of love with it... Maybe... Steam does have my undying love for the moment...

What really got me miffed about the later editions of Mario Kart (Wii and 7, possibly DS) is how you don't get a 3 second grace period after you get hit by something. You can be in a situation where you've been in first place for almost all of the race then get hit by the classic BS combo of lightning-red-shell-blue-shell, etc and recover in time to limp across the finish in 5th. I think it was Mario Kart 7 where the red shells particularly would NOT stop until they hit their target (except for the ones you launch of course)
I certainly wouldn't say I hate it, but Pokemon. I was a complete fanatic as a kid. Just to get an idea of what I mean, here was my average day: wake up and have breakfast of Pokemon Cereal and Pokemon Eggo Waffle, play Pokemon on school bus, thumb through Pokemon book, magazine, or card collection behind teacher's back, play Pokemon with friends at recess, go home and watch Pokemon anime on Kids WB regardless of whether or not it was an old rerun or an episode I didn't like, play Pokemon for rest of evening, take bath with 'Pokemon Bubble Bath', go to bed, rinse and repeat for three or four years.
These days I just simply don't care. I'll still pick up an old game on occasion and play it, I even bought Heartgold a couple of years ago and got completely hooked on it for a short period, so it isn't like I'm completely disinterested. But I don't keep up with it anymore and I couldn't give less of a shit about the anime or cards or toys. Nor could I really name any Pokemon that came out after 2001 (And in case you're wondering, I didn't really play the Kanto portion of Heartgold so I still wasn't really introduced to the newer ones)

Screwattack is the first to come to mind. Used to like them, but I think they've screwed the pooch too hard now.
Same. I used to visit that site all the time in its early days, looking back I even think it's fair to say it was the TGWTG of the mid 2000's. But after the whole fiasco with Craig selling the site to Gametrailers and Tom leaving the site, the place went downhill pretty quickly. It doesn't help that I never really liked Craig to begin with, so him becoming more or less the public face of the site didn't help things. Even the contributors I like such as AVGN and GameOverthinker can be found on other sites, including this one in the latter's case.
Can't think of anything I used to love, but now hate. There are some things I used to love, but don't any more. The first that comes to mind is Star Trek. My interest in it had been waning for some time, but esp. I hate what the J.J. Abrams film(s) have done with the franchise.

Probably because they're all starting to come across as talentless morons/assholes to me now.
The podcast is just a maelstrom of self absorbed idiocy and and the only thing I can stand from them any more is Achievement Hunter although Ray does piss me with his sheer desperation to be funny and the commenters have degraded into the same ones that turned me away from the Yogscast ("omg were is new minecraft episode").
RTAA especially pisses me off because not only is the art style awful, I know I could make one infinite better if I was being paid for it too.
And finally, along with the Yogscast among other channels, their community grew too large and then turned to shit.
Because I could see the mods, in their infinite wisdom, counting this as low content, I'll mention something else I now hate.
Peter Jackson/Newline Cinema/Whoever's idea it was to make the Hobbit.
That teal and orange, CGI saturated monstrosity has ruined LotR, one of the defining influences of my childhood, for me.
I now understand why some people won't shut up about the Star Wars prequels.
Sex and the city.
I thought it was so cool when i was younger. But the closer in age to the character I become, the more pathetic they seem.
Not i just plain hate it.
I'll go out on a limb and be a little dangerous by mentioning marijuana here, as I'm not at all condoning usage. There was also a time where I would listen to Bob Marley and declare the stuff to be magical happy medicine gifted from the Gods, and one day it just wasn't doing it for me anymore. Heightened anxiety, made social situations really awkward, and I probably grew up or however you'd properly put that (I know there's elderly people that use it, and so on).
Same here, though I would mostly attribute it to the side-effects in my case rather than growing up. I'm not really sure what happened with it, though I would guess it started going downhill near the end of my college days when I was using much more heavily than I had in the past.
Hey, finally I can say something everyone else hasn't mentioned already!
Anyway, Bioware. I really liked their games for quite a long time, games like Jade Empire and Dragon Age: Origins. Then Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 2 hit.
"Eh, they're not as open ended as previous games, but they're still pretty good."
And then, Mass Effect 3's ending.
I wouldn't be exaggerating much if I said that ending has made me a lot less willing to get attached to characters, although that might've happened even without the horrible ending as just a part of puberty but I'm rambling now and I'll shut up now.
