Things you want added to Minecraft

There was an idea I was shown and it went something like this.

You make a base of wood, then maybe make a windmill looking shape out of wool, and put them near each other...and BAM! It becomes an actual, operational windmill. Could make a lot of stuff that way.

A better use for gold. The clock and golden apple are useful, don't get me wrong. It's just the fact that they are the ONLY useful things gold has to offer that annoys me.

Guns do sound nice.

Personally though, I'd kill for some rounded edge blocks. Not entirely round but round on like one side so I can make like giant oreo's or bottle's or rounded corners for my rivers.

I'll second/third the weather suggestions. Why yes, staring meaninglessly into the void from my fortress atop Mt. Doom as the rain falls all around me, two waterfalls gushing on either side of me into the vast ocean below...yes. Just yes.

Also: a fucking map! Fine, make it craftable, make its ingredients rare, just let me have some way of knowing where in the world I am. All it absolutely must do is show land, water, and the player's current position. Optional: have it show tunnels when underground so that I won't get lost, as well as different colors for different materials.

more mechanisms, like a real drawbridge, elevators, etc. Nothing too fancy.

A sand box mode so you can just mess about and give yourself different things ect or an in game map editor.

You can downlaod an inventory editor, which allows you to give yourself any item in the game, even items that aren't usually available. Sort of ruins the fun when you can have infinite TNT and cover the entire map in the stuff, after whacking up their explosive power of course. Gets dull after a while.

A sleep system. I can make myself a bed and a chair in Minecraft but I can't use them. I don't like sitting in my house all night doing nothing so it would be perfect. I hate waiting so much I play on peaceful so I can continue working all night.
