Well right now my girlfriend who Ive been with for a year is pissed at me and wont talk to me and i have no idea why. IT seems like girls are always doing some crazy shit for no reason.
Well, there probably is a reason, you know. Like this fine display of playing the victim and dismissing her actions. Yeah, the ladies just love that.
the thing is im not dismissing her actions, im trying to find out what i did so i can make it right. but thats impossible when she refuses to tell...

Saying i said things i didn't say.
Speak for me.
Accuse me of something and then ask me if i did such thing.
Ask me something and interrupt me when i start talking.
Never let go mistakes.
Hit me woth the elbow or kick me when she wants me to tell me something without others noticing.

making a massive fucking deal about something really insignificant.
This too
maybe I should ask my girlfriend if she's seeing someone else, because that sounds just like her.
What!? Denisse told me she would stop seeing you...

Probably your girlfriends name isn't Denisse (Mine's isn't either) but if it was the would have really freaked out :)

asks "what are you thinking?"

SHUTUP, IF I WANTED TO TELL YOU WHAT I WAS THINKING I'D BE TELLING YOU ALREADY, AND I REJECT THE PREMISE THAT MY THOUGHTS ARE SIMPLE ENOUGH TO BE EASILY AND READILY EXPLAINED IN ANY WAY THAT COULD POSSIBLY SERVE YOU! I DO NOT HAVE A ONE TRACK MIND, SO LET MY ACTIONS SPEAK FOR MY THOUGHTS AND LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE! THERE IS VALUE IN SILENCE, IF YOU THINK IT'S AWKWARD THEN MOVE ON...

sorry, but i think it's a damn stupid question, and always serves to lower my opinion of anyone who asks it within that context
Jesus, yes. First, thinking is an abstract process, with very little logic behind it. Second, even if I did tell you I was thinking about astrophysics (which I do from time to time, seeing as how it's my minor), it has nothing to do with the fact that we are grocery shopping. Third, no, I am not thinking of you all the time. Hell, I spend less than 1% of my day thinking about you because I am a university student and have better things on my mind.

OT, spending money on shit we don't need. I live a very minimalist existence because I know that materialistic things do not have the ability to fulfill my psychological needs and make me truly happy.

Her inability to think logically; I am very scientific in my thinking. I use logic and facts to form opinions. Opinions such as Jenny McCarthy is a drooling ignoramus, but that is for another time. Emotions should never factor in intelligent decision making.

She can't cook or do laundry, something every 22 year old should have grasped by the time they move out on their own. And she doesn't get involved in debates with me precisely because I use logic and facts when she uses emotions and beliefs, and somehow, I am the ass.

I am also a romantic, something she never picks up on. I leave her notes around the house, or cook her organic, vegetarian food for her (two things she knows I disagree with) in separate pots and pans from my meat, give her back rubs, etc., and never get one ounce of appreciation for it.

And it always seems to lead to a fight when I have sex with other women. I let her have sex with women all the time, so what is the big deal?!

Great, now I am upset. Lamb of God, here I come.

We will argue about something, then a few days later she will try to initiate the same argument in the exact same way.

After four or five times i just stopped arguing altogether. The only way to win is to not play at all, pretty much.
Or to just agree. I try to not do that, but sometimes arguments are pointless and I just want to get away from them.
When I start to get annoyed, I just tell her that I love her and change the subject, but only if it's a pointless argument.

There really aren't things that "piss" me off, but there's one thing that does annoy me a little more, but I find cute at the same time. We pretty much talk all day, and sometimes I want to do something (e.g. play a game, read, anything else), but she just whines and tells me not to go. It's annoying, but I like it... I don't know, I guess I like having a really clingy girlfriend.
If you agree with her you're telling her it's okay to act like that. For your own sanity, don't. The only way to stop it is to remind her every time it happens that you already had this argument and it didn't go well for her last time.

I thought of more (I will do this post in point form):
1) Makes fun of the fact that I listen to metal and watch anime. Um, you listen to Katy Perry and consider independent films to be "artsy" simply because they are independent.
2) Bitches because I don't tell her when I am upset/stressed/having a hard day. Even though she know I was raised by an asshole hard ass who would never let me complain. It's been 25 years, I am not changing because you don't like that about me.
3) Tells me to stop worrying about the people I care about. When no one hears from my brother for two days, including his room mates and his gf, I am going to worry, dammit!
4) Can't handle differences of opinion or when I point out she is just plain wrong about something because she didn't do her research on a subject. I am not the one who wants to be a reporter!
5) Without fail, rents horrible movies when it's "her turn", even though I know way more about movies. And then insists on watching it to the end, even though I can tell she isn't enjoying it.

Take way too long to get ready. Don't try and tell me you don't do it girls, almost every girl I've ever known has taken forever to get ready for shit.
I take 5 minutes to get ready, and I'm a girl.

=)

And uh, I haven't *really* had a girlfriend (well I kinda did), but my boyfriend, however, has yet to do something that has annoyed me, and we've been together for over a year.

Edit: I've also just realised that all of the "girlfriends" notice in this thread.. I'm not like either of them.. ._.;;;

The only other thing that pisses me off is when she points out she's much taller than me.
Good for you, the faster girls start dating guys shorter then them the easier it is for my offspring to have a chance at gals.
Sorry to disappoint you, I'm not a dude :(

Damn.... It's pretty amazing to see so many guys out there being pissed all the time about their girlfriends, and yet they're still with them.

Sex is that important to you, or is it something else? I don't get it.
How boring would it be if your friends had exactly the same opinion as you and liked all the same things? For me, I like conflict. It gives me an excuse for "me" time, gives me funny stories to tell the guys, and keeps me honest and open minded. I can get sex anywhere; I am confident, intelligent, funny, social, and good looking. Sex is not the motivator for me, and probably not for most of these people, it's the fact that relationships have to be a mix of individuality, differences, and similarities. Relationships are extremely complex, it's as simple as that ;)

Meh, oh well, guess I'll go back to sobbing at the injustice.
