An AR-15.

Why I don't have one is because...
1. Expense. I simply don't have that kind of money and the price+tax of guns in CA is higher than other states I've been to.
2. They are illegal in my state under the "Assault Weapons" Ban. The only way I could get one is if it were neutered which would actually be more expensive. The 10 round mags alone are typically 3 times more expensive than the standard 30 rounders.

A gun. I've been old enough since forever and could have bought one at any time (even poor as I am, my low expenses mean I have a little money that I don't need for anything), but I never have. I dunno, I don't have the skills to use one and am not sure it's a skill worth learning right now.
As long as you get someone who isn't dumb as a rock to help you out, you can pick up the basics pretty quick. It is an expensive hobby, but it is one of my favorites. Don't worry about not having any skill. Just like everything else you pick that up with experience :D

I'm tentatively thinking of placing and order for ICe, the sword of Eddard Stark in George R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones series, the one wielded in the TV adaption. It's gonna cost about £250 but they are all autenticated by Martin himself, signed and the order number is inscribed, since i think only 2000 are going to be apart of the first edition.

Since I've seen the shots, I'm thinking that Orcrist (the sword wielded by Thorin Oakshield and again made by Weta for the movie) is one i might seriously consider getting in the future :)
Those two are pretty amazing weapons. Just had a look at Orcrist, I love how it is reminiscent of Bilbo's Sting. It would be great to own the 3 elvish weapons from the Hobbit wouldn't it? Sting, Orcrist and Glamdring. Had a look at the other dwarves, I like the swords that Kili and Fili use. What other swords have you got in your collection?

Oddly enough, a Wii. Let me explain before you start laughing.
I know the thing has basically no good games outside of Mario and Zelda, but I want to play those games. But I cannot justify paying upwards of 150$ for a console that I'll use for less than 10 games.
I'll assuredly buy one after it's officially dead and costs about the price of a game. I've been tempted by a 30$ Gamecube at my local GameBuzz, but I can get the GC games that interest me and play them on my Wii in a couple years. And once I'm done, sell the whole thing on eBay.

I currently have a Katana replica from the Last of the Samurai Film and and Kilgorin, A carbon Steel Sword from The Kit Rae collection

This is Kilgorin :)

My cousin has an extensive Sword and Dagger collection, But it's a bit hard in Britain to prove that you own a private collection since a lot of new restrictions came in to force.

Nerf Longshot, Halo: Reach, infinite supply of milk.

I don't have the first because I never got it as a kid, but I loved sniper rifles from COD.

I don't have Halo: Reach because I'm waiting until Christmas time when everything possible is cheaper.

I don't have an infinite supply of milk because I don't know how to get it.

A custom-made Harley Davidson with the heart and dagger insignia I wear on my guitar string necklace worked into it.

I'll get it one day. When I'm a famous rockstar, maybe. I'll have to get the licence first!

Yeah I certainly imagine it will be harder to buy things like this after the riot situation has cleared up.
Going back to props, this website sprang to mind http://www.propstore.com/ remembered seeing it in Empire magazine.

A really awesome hat. Like a Fedora, or something like this:

Yeah, money's not stopping me there. But I just can't think of an occasion where I could actually wear the damn thing. I'm thinking I could just start showing up to work as though I come from the 1960s. That would actually be pretty cool.

Yeah i've been on it before, they have a lot of stuff i would seriously consider getting :D nice to meet a fellow prop fan, The Book of Eli short sword looks great!

I just worry about Cost, which is why half the stuff i would want relevant to the thread is slightly out of reach :/

Yes if only I had the money... Unfortunately I have to choose between the props or films/video games/clothes/food, so I'll content myself with watching the bonus discs of LOTR for now. And yes, nice to meet a fellow prop fan! :D

Id probably look into a Nihontou from one of the Mukansa Level Smiths from Japan. Im a particular fan of Yoshihara Yoshindo and his brother Kuniiye.

Recently, a sword created by both brothers, a Gassaku, jointly created, Daito (long sword), Tanto (a type of short sword, commonly referred to as a knife), and a Kogatana, a small knife often mounted in the scabbard of the daitou. This trio of exquisitely made blades sold for 29,500 USD.

bare blade mounted in Shirasaya, or resting scabbard.

the hamon, or temperline, a beautiful example of Choji-midare in nioi deki.

the mei, or signature. It reads Yoshindo and Shoji (Kuniiye's given name), and the reverse reads Oite Da Ra Su, or Made in Dallas, as this particular blade was made during a 40 day exhibition in Dallas in 1980.
