Although it's not as a movie, I think that Lufia II should be made into a TV show. I'd love to say that, but a movie for it would have to be WAY too long.

I think there's some great potential for a Final Fantasy movie.

They did that once it was epic fail really just bombed anything Final Fantasy had at the time.

But, then again, I didn't think that Resident Evil (first and third), Doom, Advent Children and a few other movies based on games where that bad. Another thing I don't understand. Everyone says that video game movies suck, yet a lot of people (mostly fanboys) want a Halo movie? I bet most of them would be complaining that it sucked if they actually made one... Unless he took his helmet off and it was Chuck Norris, that would be amazing.

I just have one thing to say. If Mario bros is 'kiddy', there is no reason they couldn't have stuck to the simple nintendo story and had a fat plumber jumping on gooba's and koopas. We have spongbob and other crap like that, so why wouldn't it work?

Baldur's Gate!!! Do want! Imagine...say Tim Curry as Jon Irenicus (..on second thought, maybe not that good an actor/character match, but shut up, i enjoy both irenicus and curry >.>). Vin Diesel as minsc? Or a shaved arnold, perhaps...and...hm...hugh laurie perhaps as Edwin Odesseiron (although you may refer to him as 'sir' if you prefer a less...syllabelle intensive workout 8D).

Planescape Torment would also make a pretty good movie, I suppose, although the atmosphere would be hard to capture...

No, that wouldn't work. FEAR was as good as it was (that is to say, fucking awesome) because of how immersive it was, that would be lost in a film.
