Think for a moment, what if video game movies Didn't suck?

If we lived in a world in which video game movies weren't normally piles of shit, what you like to see done?

Think of it any way you want, the point is to think of a game that would make a great movie if done right and explain how it should be done to be good.

Be it you are in charge, the game makers are directing, your favorite director/writer is involved or its just a shot for shot remake of a game.

For me, it would be inFamous. I think that would be a great movie if they just stuck to the original plot and kept it mostly the same without trying to fuck with the story.

Also, I think Portal would make an excellent psychological thriller in the vein of Cube.

Just about any successful video game franchise could theoretically be adapted to live-action IF its given the right amount of focus, dedication & interest from the appropriate parties.

The Witcher as a film might work, plenty of source material.

Mass Effect is already trying to look like a film, so I'm sure they could spin out some sort of "24 in SPACE!" angle on it.

If all the fight scenes were like that scene in The Bourne Identity when he owned that guy with a pen. That would make an awesome movie.
