I'm talking more about seeing people murdered in front of me, even though there's nothing actually there - not actually in a meditating state, just hearing voices and seeing weird shit that doesn't exist while in a totally normal frame of mind. Seeing strange things while meditating, while not perfectly normal, is still normal enough. Don't worry yourself over it.PixieFace said:-snip-KimberlyGoreHound said:Well, some people might say I see or hear spirits...I'm not sure what my hallucinations are, but I'm pretty sure they're not ghosts.
Well that is a fair point... but I actually drew out a storyboard about what my Digimon Dream was about, and it was about tamers. I had no idea of it arriving, and so I know it wasn't Paramnesia... although that does probably apply for me and the next Quotes TV shows.manaman said:No you can't see the future and there is even a name for this type of memory hic-up. Start writing down your prophetic dreams before hand. Once you start writing then down you brain is forced to fill in the details that usually get fleshed out later as you try to remember your dream right there. No more "prophecies." Which only happen because your brain triggers the dream memory and you associate it with what you are currently seeing and so thing you remembered it like that all along when you didn't.Catkid906 said:I had a dream of a new Digimon Anime Series Last Tuesday Night... When I woke up, there was a new Digimon Series announced.
I can even predict sometimes what episode of what TV show will be on, before I even know I'm going to watch it.
It's just another form of paramnesia.
The same kind of phenomenon is also seen as something called presque vu. Which is when you just can't quite remember a word or name. It's on the tip of your tongue so to say. Yet nobody thinks they have some strange paranormal powers when that happens.
Sorry, no Calumon right now... I have to get Calumon backthat1guy said:Something similar happens all the time to me.Catkid906 said:I can even predict sometimes what episode of what TV show will be on, before I even know I'm going to watch it.
Usually, I think of something funny in a show that I see. The next time I view the show, it has that exact moment in it.
Hell, it doesn't even have to be immediate. What I mean is, I can go days, or even weeks, without watching television, yet, the next time I turn on the idiot box, I change the channel to the show, and the show with the aforementioned moment is on.
Although, by typing this, I fear that my predictions will end.
Also, Hi Calumon!
([sub]Never been a big fan of Digimon [always prefered Pokemon], but I can't help but say Hi to him![/sub])
