This actually scares me, and I could use some advice.

as lonq as i can keep my perspective and intelliqence i dont really care about my ability to communicate
This is a tiny bit off topic, but why is every letter g a q instead? It's really irking me. Bolded for emphasis.

Is your g key broken or are you merely testing us?

I have a written lisp. I started it once I realized that qs are gs would look better reversed. It's been guestioned in every thread I've posted in today. Success, maybe?

Also, in order to contribute to the topic, I'd like to mention that I talk much better while dead tired, but type worse, and vice versa when I am completely awake.

i started durinq the summer and now it is almost muscle memory so useful

Erm, well actually that kind of thing is common with ADD. It's called hyperfocus. People with ADD can focus on the things they're interested in with extreme intensity, and tend to be very good at whatever they're focused on. Sometimes a better understanding of the disorder helps. Not to say that the diagnosis was correct, just... just saying is all. I hope I don't sound rude; I'm not trying to be. ^.^;
that actually makes alot of sense; if only she saw fit to maybe tell me that when she arrived at that conclusion. things beyond my scope of interest i tend to pick up passively...generally ambivalent to them, though unable to avoid picking up the details of far off conversations id rather drown out for instance. that sounds like it could very well be some weird passively-eidetic-memory version of ADD or something; but that lady seemed very intent on telling me i lacked focus, which is far from true.

Either: Stop taking so many drugs. (haha joking)
Spend less time on the internet, take walks for the hell of it, find a new inspiration to begin writing, get a thesaurus,

Ive been having a similar thing lately, i haven't been reading or playing chess or anything as much, I've been playing many video games and watching TV. I was trying to write a sentence for a paper for school the other day and i like to think of myself as a human thesaurus, but i couldn't find another word for well... i forgot what that word was though anyways.... Where was i going with this? Oh right i think everybody in America is devolping Alzheimer its probably something in the water

:3 She probably should have been clearer about that. ADD isn't a lack of focus, per se. It's like concentrated focus, not a lack thereof. I read somewhere that the whole hyperfocus aspect was more of a repressed "hunter's instinct" from our ancestors. Like, the normal mindset is a gather's mindset, and the ADD mindset was the other. Just food for thought, I suppose.

Hmm... Could just be stress, but it can't hurt to go and talk to someone about it. If it is some kind of mental illness, discovering it about 2 months down the line is 2 months you could have spent being helped through a recovery.

Try not to worry about it though; that won't help things

good sir, you have turned a questionable diagnosis into my repressed predatory instincts. words cannot express my gratitude.

Get yourself to a neurologist, who will MRI your head and see with there is a tumor. If there is none, it's all in your head.

This happens to me if I'm worried about something or can't get something off of my mind. And lack of sleep can mess with your ability to make words, too. If there's something in your life that you're worried about or you're stressed out about (apart from this, of course) and try to resolve it. Find a counsilor if you can, I've found they can be very helpful in giving worries and stresses a name.

Eh, it's just what I do. ^.^
Also, that would be "ma'am", but I'm not all that particular. Just an FYI.

Mate.. it's just simple anxiety... You happened to notice an instance of not being as fluid as you 'think' you may be, and now you're getting stressed about it, which in turn is exacerbating your situation.

Just chill for a few days.. do other things, when you aren't noticing yourself quite as much, you'll just naturally fall back into familiar patterns.

BTW.. in it's more extreme form it's also called 'writer's block'... but even then it's nothing to be concerned about.

a) go to the doctor

b) calm down. this sort of issue generally is self diagonosed, generally completely rubbish, and the more you worry about it the worse it will get.

You and I suffer the same thing. I find it difficult to get the words out without mixing things up and sounding like a babbling idiot. Don't worry though, I wouldn't say it's something too bad, this is why:

Clearly your mind is cluttered, a lot like mine. You just need to relax and get things organised so you're nice and calm when things come around. I usually get my words mixed up when it comes to arguing and I'm trying to piece together my sentence from the facts in my mind and all the different opinions I've taken in. Just slow everything down for a bit and try not to worry about this, everything should return to normal if you just settle and forget about mixing your words up all together.

Topic creator: What you're experiencing is the symptom of a multitude of things, from stress to a brain tumor. If this has been going on for awhile, and it's a major concern, your safest bet is to see your doctor. Be honest and spare no detail, and you'll get to the bottom of this soon enough.

All the best to you, pal.

well yeah, im no psychiatrist, but it would seem that your sudden change in writing ability is most likely due to something like stress or another kind of distraction. unfortunately i can't really relate to your issue, i've never had much of a problem with grammar

That is what Im hoping for, and probably what it is.
if you're around that age bracket of puberty/adolescence, then it could very possibly just be a result of all the excess hormones being pumped through your body

To the OP, your original post was clearer and better written than 90% of what's on the internet already, and so don't worry too much about how much you've deteriorated.

Seriously, though, I had a period a few years ago, when my typing went to hell, I'd transpose letters, or my mind would slip and I'd type the wrong word entirely. Looking back, that may have been a more stressful time also.

If it weighs on your mind for much longer, go talk to your doctor, mental health is just as important as physicaly health, and you'll feel better knowing, even if it's nothing.
