This actually scares me, and I could use some advice.

Yeah, OP that kind of sounds like me, but with talking. My writing has gotten better than it used to be, but often times when I speak I forget words, or I mix up the the word order of sentences. I always just attributed to the fact that I've studied lots of languages, and I figured my brain was sometimes getting mixed up from all the different grammar. But it was just a guess and I can't be too sure.

I wonder.

From what I am reading,it sounds like you are having a near-stroke.I had one when I was 13.It happens when you start pushing yourself beyond your mental limit.I do not guarantee this as I myself can not see you or dignify you due to a lack of information but from what I am hearing, that is exactly it.My advice, check out a doctor if everything seems like it is changing speed, faster or slower,or if people start telling you about a twitching, but again I am no doctor so at the very least,go to a readyclinic

Get yourself to a neurologist, who will MRI your head and see with there is a tumor. If there is none, it's all in your head.
This is a bit extreme but on the right track. Mention this to your parents/friends/spouse (I don't know how old you are). If they have noticed a change, or even if they haven't, consider seeking professional, neurological/psychiatric help. Don't just go to the local General Practitioner, they'll likely just poo-poo you off.

How old are you? Have you been getting enough sleep lately? Or have you been doing a ton of work lately? Cause usually that's just a product of burn-out.

I've had a fairly similar experience. I started writing fanfics when I was about 13 and have loved doing it ever since. It was a great way to relax and let my imagination run wild too.
Ever since I got my own place I've written about 2 pages. I've been here about a year and a half now.
I was pregnant too, so I thought it was just baby brain but my daughter is almost 8 months old now and I still can't seem to string a sentence together well enough to keep it in my stories.
It scares me, because it was the one way I felt creative.

It sounds to me like you could well be stressed though. Defo try to relax for a few days then go back to it and see what happens x

Has this been a strenuous time for you? Have you not been getting as much sleep as you should?

Rest and relaxation are vital to keeping you sharp. Try it.

This happens to me as well. Don't worry about it, it's normal. It's strictly focus even if you don't realize it. Some days, you might have something causing slight stress although it might not be forthcoming in your mind. This is probably some slight version of ADD (I don't agree with ADD but I know adderall will "help") and might be worth seeing a doctor.

At times, my mind has serious trouble looking for the words I would want to use and I feel like a blubbering asshole. Other times, it just comes natural.

Stress/Adolescence.
If your grades can take it (And I take it from what you described, they can for a while) take it easy for a bit, or tell your teacher what you wrote above, and see if you can't work it out, atleast for a little while.

If it makes you feel any better, if it was a neuro-degenerative condition you'd notice other symptoms than just "my English isn't as flawless".

There are a lot of potential factors, my best guess: you're tired, stressed out, and the otherwise small fail we all do once in a while spiralled out of control as it happened in an area near and dear to you: language.

In other words, you had a perfectly human error due to stressing out, which scared you, and made you go into hypochondriac mode. It's a lot more common than it sounds.

Another possibility involves the fact that you're, at least, bilingual from what I can tell (profile says you're from Finland). As someone who is also multi-lingual, I've had something like this happen before. If you've been using one language considerably more than the other, it's perfectly normal for the lesser used language to get a bit "rusty". Not "I can't understand it anymore" rusty, but "I no longer have half the dictionary in my head" rusty. It happened with both my native language (Portuguese), since I started using English predominantly, and happened with English for a while when I focused more on doing college essays and works (which, as you can probably guess, are in my native language), and used English less.

Either ways, don't stress too much. Great thing about the human brain is that we "forget" a lot less information than we think we do. We mostly just store it outside of our "work memory" for convenience. A little brushing up and you're back on track. Browse some literature if you feel the need to dust the old lexicon a bit.

The internet is ruining you?

No, but really, are you stimulating your brain enough outside of a computer screen? It can make your brain pretty fuzzy if you dont get stuff like verbal communication, variation of settings and healthy stimulation of the mind regularly.

Also, be sure to not have noise, music, people, the internet, so forth around you at all time. You need to have quiet times where you sit and basically are bored without distractions. The brain needs this a few hours a day to be able to properly process information into knowledge and impressions into memories. If you don't get this, you can also go pretty fuzzy.

If you ARE careful to fulfill all these things, then you have no reason for your brain to be radically overworked, and you might want to consider getting yourself checked by a doctor.

Hope you feel better man, it sounds a bit scary =\

Are you tired?

If so, there's your answer. I've been feeling exhausted for the last year or so and have noticed the same problems as you described.report

I've had episodes like this for years. I went to doctors about it and I'm fine. I'd suggest getting checked out, but a lot of people have episodes like that.

Try not to worry, but don't ignore it, either.
