It's becoming really stupid in the UK at least with the misuse of the anti-terrorism act. It's happening all the time and 99.9% of the time it has nothing to do with terrorism.
So escapists you seen/heard or being the victim of these police tactics? Have you any other examples of the misuse of terrorism laws brought in as knee-jerk to 9/11 and so poorly written?

Then the police did the usual attempt to bully an innocent person into taking an action the police cannot make someone do.A man who took an adorable picture of his toddler in a Scottish shopping centre was questioned by police after the photo apparently fell foul of anti-terrorism laws.
How much money did this waste in police time? How much real crime were those officers not stopping while threatening some innocent guy with something the police can't do?Police were then called to the scene and threatened to confiscate his phone allegedly citing the Terrorism Act when Mr White ? a local mental health worker - refused to delete the photos he had posted on Facebook moments before.
However, under the Terrorism Act officers do not have the power to delete digital images or destroy film at any point during a search unless a court order has been granted.
