i guess im muy different to you two individuals because there is nothing broken inside of me. im just a very break-y person in and of my own self
You honestly tell me that it's entertaining to destroy things that other people use, and in some cases depend on?
if im in the mood. yes
I can understand that its part of human nature and that sometimes breaking stuff can relieve stress, but the problem is this happens on a regular basis. Pretty much every weekend someone throws up in a toilet or sink and the hallway is usually a mess. I feel sorry for the janitors that have to clean it up.
woah woah woah....throw up is destructive? what.
You've obviously never witnessed Chuck Norris throw up then
im talking about normal human throw up.

because its fun.
I'd shoot you and people like you if I could.
I try to be fair in my judging of people, but when it comes to things like this, I get to the point where my sense of reason does NOT prevail over my rage.
There's something seriously wrong with you.
not really. im just not a pretencious individual like you.
Having respect for others and their property isn't being pretentious, it's being a nice person. However, breaking things because it's fun shows that you either a) can empathise with people yet find people's misfortune and unhappiness to be enjoyable OR b) you can't empathise with other people and get a thrill out of power (the power to destroy things that is (which some might say indicates an insecurity in yourself while others might say it shows selfishness and greed (taking power into your own hands for your own purposes with no regards for the feelings of others))). Whichever one it is, people like that tend to be called arse-holes.

Anyone who uses drinking as an excuse is just simply weak minded. Only thing being drunk does is mess with your perception and reaction time. People who get 'drunk' and go and partake in stupid actions are weak minded individuals, sorry to be so close minded about this but its the same thing as being hypnotized. You pretty much have to 'act' like being drunk. Or 'act' like your being hypnotized. Or your resolve is so weak that you think a substance can completely control your psyche, opinions, judgment, and attitude.
Have you ever actually had a drink in your life? Alcohol does more than alter your perception and slow your reaction time...it drastically alters your decision making and thought processes. You have a very naive view about how psychoactive substances work.

Yes I've drank Jungle Juice, everclear, Moonshine, Cisco, Jack Daniels, Bicardi, and Patron. I've drank bottles, cups, and even at times 3rds of a bowl of just random vodkas. My entire family drinks, and we drink every sunday when we have family nights. I've gotten drunk to the point where I've thrown up before, and other times I've crashed. Regardless though, yes I've drank to answer your question.

It does not drastically alter your decision making. Next time you drink, keep sayin to yourself in your head. "I'm going to stay quiet and watch." or "I'm going to stay rational." This isn't a naive view. This is just plain black and white. Hallucinagin (sp?), and drugs alter your perception and rational thought because that's what they're designed to do. They create radical changes to your perception of things to drastically alter your mindset.

Alcohol doesn't do these things. I've been 'drunk' before. All I felt was tired, a bit slower on the up take, and more awake. Yet, I didn't have urges to vomit all over my friend's rug, I didn't think throwing a mattress out the window was a great plan, and I certainty didn't break shit. People who say, "Oh I get more horny/violent/emo/quiet/etc when I'm drunk" is someone who's making excuses for themselves. You can always keep a rational mind while drinking and still have a good time. At the most, you may feel more prone to 'have fun' because you don't want to feel left out, but ultimately you can keep your head from being in the clouds.

This isn't a naive way of thinking, next time you drink just keep saying to yourself. "I'm going to be myself, I'm not going to act out." guess what? You won't act out. And if you do, it's because you are acting on a self-fulfilling prophecy that alcohol makes you a specific way outside of your usual personality.

In addition let's keep our 'assumptions' to ourselves. When you say, "You have a very naive view" your really trying to say (in a nice way) "You're a moron" So let's try and keep statements like that out of the discussion, cause that's how people get into arguments.

Not entirely true, it does alter your psyche slightly, for example i would never usually vomit in the hood of my friends top, but at the time all i saw it as was a receptacle.

As alcohol increases inhibitions decrease, yes some predisposition towards violence must be there to begin with, but it is much more likely to come out when you cannot see the consequences.

Also, people did this when i went to Uni. All you can do is try to ignore it and carry on (and maybe report said people if you know who they were).
When you have to vomit, that's something that can't be controlled. If you don't get it out you'll be more sick. Say if you had to vomit on a regular day while driving but there's no where to do it except outside of your car cause you don't want to do it inside your car. The road is not a trash bin, but you'll treat it as such to get it out.

A predisposition to do a lot of things has to be there. The girl friend who cheats on her boyfriend cause she got drunk at a party. She has a disposition to cheating, or using alcohol as her excuse to get by. The "Early Man" who has to fight every single time he gets drunk because yes he has a disposition towards violence. However realistically their real disposition is using alcohol as an excuse for their actions.

I will concede to inhibitions decreasing, but that does not change the fact that you make conscious choices and decisions to do things that you can actually control. It takes one mental statement, one conscious thought that you're not going to do something to prevent you from doing it.

I'm not just going off of personal experiences here (Though I do have a lot of that)...many MANY sources have concluded it impairs your judgment. Along with that it causes confusion, impaired memory, emotional lability, and blackouts. No matter who you are. These affects happen to EVERYONE with a sufficient dose.

I agree that people use it as an excuse though. You're the one who got drunk, you pay the consequences...but they can still blame it on the alcohol and be somewhat correct.

no idea but i know how you feel, had a party once and no only was the place a shit whole afterwards (which can be expected so no big deal) but somebody stole all the oven knobs and squirted sauce everywhere. Another time people broke into house just to stab my tophat, slash the couch, throw eggs at the wall and smash up the tv......although previously they had stolen a 360 so maybe they were just frustrated it hadn't been replaced with something else for them to steal

Breaking people's things is kind of a dick move, one that I don't quite understand. I love inconveniencing or pissing people off. I remember blocking off a street with traffic cones from Target and Wal-Mart and then my friends basically blocked the people who were trying to turn around by being extremely inept with their cars. One of many stupid stunts.

Enraging or confusing people is fun. Destroying things they need is not.
