Few years ago I cycled to school with two blonde gils. One of the girls sees a bird and says look a Odonata(Libelleutch)(I don't know how well known Odannatas are in the rest of the world but they're common insects here) The second girl says: "That's not a odannata, thats a Ppocahontas bird.

I had to explain to them that the thing she thought it was is a Hummingburd (Kolibriutch), that hummingbirds live in south America and that the bird she probebly saw was a Common Kingfisher (Ijsvogel)

Oh and my little brother once told me that he was "smarter as" me.

It was in Ancient History class in high school.

Then the part where Achilles runs up to the giant guy near the beginning and puts his sword straight down in between the guys shoulder/side of the neck. The neck in which major arteries run through. The sword obviously would have gone deep down into the guys chest cutting up who knows what else.

The guy drops dead instantly.

Next thing I know this girl in my class says 'How could someone die from that?'

That was immediately followed by a ton of people including myself in disbelief as to how anyone (at least our age) could ask that. We then quickly told her how ridiculous her question was and tried to explain how the guy could drop dead so fast. When I think about it, the way we reacted was pretty harsh but still.

In my physics for students of medicine tutorium last semester (university, not college, for I am german) one of the girl medical students asked, if there was a difference between celsius and kelvin. 20 minutes later she asked, what the n in the formula was supposed to mean.

chemistry, also a medical students:
so thats an positive electron then?

I'm so thankful, I only have to study with these people, not work with them.

Had a time at college where some girl was fiddling around on her computer trying to do something.

I was walking past and she asked if I could help her, I said sure whats the problem? Oh, I can't get this file to save. I then see her try and click and drag the file onto the desktop to save it. It was a PhotoShop file at that.

I still laugh at it. P.E.B.K.A.C error at it's finest.
