Ah, the intolerance of intolerance. People calling for the heads of people calling for heads. Death threats, demanding violence because of death threats and demands for violence. Fighting fire with fire for all the right reasons.
You can't kill hate with hate, people. It doesn't work. It just creates more hate until everyone decides it's time to start hurting people for realsies.
Do I love the people that have hurt that community so badly? No. Honestly, I have contempt for them, because I don't know them as people, I know them for their actions. Their actions are horrendous and painful and it makes me angry.
I don't love them and that makes me a bad Christian, but it also makes me human. To be Christian is to push away that humanity and try to view people as human beings. Frail, inherently corrupt, and mortal, but still children of the Divine. They have beauty, they have dreams, they have loves, happiness, sadness, anger, pity, empathy, nightmares, pains, hates, ugliness, and mercy. You cannot see them that way, because the story is not told for you to see them that way.
You see them as the merciless hate bots they're supposed to be, because a political message is being sent. And let's face it; you don't hate Conservatives that love and give to the poor. You don't hate Christians that reach out to homosexuals as brothers and sisters in Christ. You hate faceless, nameless people that do things that may or may not be true. You hate the intolerance of others, showing your own very precious hypocrisies in doing so.
You will not change them with your hate, but you might be able to show them a better way through love.

Christ hung out with whore, drunks, and tax collectors. He had nothing but disdain for the 'religious'.
Christ loved and died for all men. He died for the sins of the people who whipped him. He died for the people who sent him to his death for being the Son of God. He died for the people who crucified him.
By saying that Christ hated any people, you are no better than the "God hates fags" people. You are the one you hate. Congratulations.
