This is what prolly ticked me off the most.

"After almost a decade of these hybrid terms, editors of the Oxford English Dictionary are finally taking note. The Wall Street Journal reports that the people with the power to make "bootylicious" part of the English language are now considering those confounding men's fashion contractions for their next edition."

SERIOUSLY?!? I will burn every copy of the Oxford English Dictionary that I can find if any of these words are added.

Rant incoming.

And feel free to post your own most hated word combinations.
I just want to point out there is an actual word for that it's called a portmanteau.

I don't like ginormous because giant and enormous mean they same thing... it's pointless.

I'm sorry, but the Mantyhose is where a line is crossed. Women wear it because their legs are curvy and smooth. Even from a fashion perspective, it doesn't make any sense for men to use them.

That's a woman, and can never again be a man ever again. Ever....fucking...again.
The only time I want a man in pantyhose is if it's war and the enemy is using chemical warfare. (British soldiers wore them during WW1.) As for the guy in the picture, I think he stole my clothes and then ripped it.

WOW! THESE ARE AMAZING! I'll take ten of each, please.

In seriousness, thanks for the laugh. It was almost as funny as your counter-rants.

Kind of made me think of Jeffrey Starr, though, and that's never pleasant. D:

Mantyhose.

The word makes my gorge rise. There is no way any man can possibly make that look anything other than freaky, unless they go the whole nine yards and tranny it up.

Frigging David Bowie couldn't make a... mantyhose... look good, and he's the sexiest man alive.

Mewlery = Man jewlery
Am I the only one who thought of a pimped out Mew?
Marfists = Man scarfs
Sounds more like a glove...
Manties = Man panties
*shutters*
Mirts = Man skirts
Isn't that a kilt?
Meels = Man heels
To confusing when we already have the word meals. Also, men aren't really built to balance well on heels. Not that painful footwear should be worn by either gender...

Mewlery sounds more like jewelry that is made for cats or those cat like things that are in Pokemon. I never liked sandals. I wore them once when I was really young and they caused me to trip.

Wait, what's the crap about the rise of men wearing sandals?!?! They pretty much predate shoes for crying out loud. It has always been acceptable for men to wear sandals. If there was ever a unisex item of clothing it was sandals.

I mean, the rest of the fashion stuff I wouldn't be caught dead in, but SANDALS?!? You cannot pretend they are feminine. Men have been wearing them since the dawn of civilisation, in all cultures and societies. Abraham, Sun Tsu, Eric the Red, Julius Caeser, Chris Colombus, Atahualpa, Genghis Khan, that prehistoric caveman that was found frozen in ice, all wore sandals.

Also "After almost a decade of these hybrid terms" Bullcrap. 90% of these I've never heard of, and I'm considering that the article made up half of them!

Dunno if anyone else said it but one word that makes me want to eat broken glass to dull the pain is "Manbulance". You'd see it tonnes in that fricken Slim Jim video every time you try to watch a video here so I'd gotten VERY damn acquainted with this damn word! >_<

Why do men want to be like woman? Aren't we content with the option of shorts, pants or no-pants?
