Wait, the video said that the EDL is against Muslim extremist, right? Whats wrong with being against people like Anjem Choudary?

Because that's not what they're actually about. Almost everyone is against extremism but they just seem to attack people for being Asian. When you see them go into areas with high Asian populations and causing riots, giving Nazi salutes and using slurs it's hard to really take them seriously when they say they're fighting extremism.

Quite frankly not much in my eyes. Only difference seems to be that the BNP are a political party not just a movement. I wouldn't be surprised if a significant amount of EDL members vote BNP

'Asian' is used differently in the UK than it is in the US. If someone is referred to as 'Asian' it usually means South Asia. If they're East Asian then people will usually say East Asia or the country they're from

Racism has always confused me. I mean I could understand why, for example, polish people would hate Russians or Swedes (what with the deluge and everything) but they don't seem to.

Unless they do and I'm just ignorant. Are there any Polish people on this site? If so, do you or your countrymen feel upset about it?

Anyroad, I was going to say that neither Jewish nor black nor asians (in my country at least) have been in a position of power or generally been a repressive force yet there is all this hate. Logically I understand that racism can stem from a perception of victimisation with no real antagonist and the natural outlet of an apex predator is always the closest & weakest thing it can find but it still seems oddly shallow.

Now apartheid or the situation in Bahrain makes more sense; you've got a minority group in a position of dominance over a majority. I can understand why the minority wish to preserve their position and continue to exploit the situation. That makes sense to me. Is that the key to it all? Is it all about power?

Am I missing something? Is there some sort of dark underside to that weird fandom where people are attacked, verbally and physically? Brony fans of one stripe or another with their special complicated hand gestures and clothing colours, driving past one another's homes and spraying them with gunfire from cheap pistols, violence against girls who "encroach" and so on?
