It seemed innocent enough, but was the original poster trying to stir up Brony on Brony violence? Or was it just that the post was deemed "low content" even though it went on to spawn 3 pages of cartoon horse related discourse?

I am concerned that there is a very real problem in that "Bronyism" (if the term doesn't exist then I've just created it. You may use it, it belongs to the ages now) could be a front for an extreemist movement with perjorative objectives that the Admins & Moderators, blessed as they are in the eyes of The Lord, are trying to protect us from.

Edit: Or they could just be a bunch of dudes who like a cartoon. Anything is possible.

It mostly has a face of outsider phobia. Immigrants are frequently targeted in schools with racist slurs and the like. Last election we also got a fresh entry into the Swedish parliament by the Sweden Democrats, a bunch of xenophobic macho folks. They seem to be taking a hit in the public opinion though, but it is hard to judge.

As matter of fact I've seen a comedy sketch about their party leader. Might as well link it to make my post on-topic for once!

I think it's fairly apparent that he doesn't. It's like the people who say/write "muslin" instead of Muslim. I'm pretty certain they don't do it on purpose!

Although - to be fair to him - Christians also have a tradition of calling non-Christians "infidels". ("Heathen" or "pagan" refers to someone who follows a polytheistic religion, whilst "infidel" supposedly refers to either an atheist or someone who follows a monotheistic religion which isn't Christianity - such as Islam.) But - to be honest - I think he's just spouting words he's seen in the tabloids that are connected to the subject of Islamic Extremists!
