A lot of people usually hate Spore, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Heroes, and the Guitar Hero series, but I thought they were okay.

Enter the Matrix. It's really not all that bad, if you're a fan of the Matrix film series at all.
Woah, someone else in the WORLD who liked that game? I put up so much stick from my friend who was a gaming elitist and simply nit-picked everything in the game without simply having a look and seeing if it was fun. Some games, despite some glaringly obvious flaws, are still fun - people really seem to place fun lower on the agenda than it should be.

That game was crazy. repetitive but crazy.

I used to dig an old fighting robot game called zero divide. Where you could dmg your opponents limbs and it would actually affect the fight and stuff. Alot of people missed that game. shame.

Fable. Everyone said it was shit because Moleneaux said it was going to have all this stuff that it didn't but I never got into the hype so I didn't have any expectations at all when I played it.
Same for me. I never paid attention the the hype for that game because it flat-out didn't interest me, but when I tried it I loved it.

Kirby Air Ride. That game was absolutely amazing and had a ton of potential. Its only real flaw is that it's got a lack of content and it gets repetitive but everything else is so solid.

Back before Squaresoft was SquareEnix they put out this 36 hour (ish) JRPG on PS1 called Breath of Fire III. It flowed really naturally and actually had some pretty funny parts. The only real problem with it was you could level up too fast in the lower level areas, so beating the end boss was kind of a joke.
Errr...

Square had relatively little to do with BoF. They were the publishers of the first game outside of Japan, but the rest of the games have been both developed and published by Capcom.

And yeah, amongst JRPG fans, the series is just slightly less known than Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. It's not a hated (or an ignored) series at all.

I'll just list my usual suspects: Chromehounds (X360), Wartech: Senko no Ronde (X360), Bioforge (PC), E.V.O.: Search for Eden (SNES) aaaand... a really obscure game called Biprolex+ that was basically a battle game with the other player playing Tetris and the other player playing Breakout with the objective to wipe the other player out.

I personally like every Samurai and Dynasty Warriors game that I've played.
I think a lot of people don't like them for being repetitive or something, but I love them.

Mirror's Edge and Deadspace are two games that make me hate EA all the more. A lot of people rag on the games for any number of reasons, but I myself had an immense amount of fun with both of them. Sure, they both could have been better games and Dead Space was certainly far from being a "scary" game (because, when you're that well armed and health is in such plentiful supply, it's hard to worry about monsters). The reason they make me hate EA is simply this: it proves EA is perfectly capable of making an original and entertaining game.

And, while I'm not entirely certain, it almost seems like Mirror's Edge was a game designed specifically for me, and better yet, because I waited for months after it was released I picked it up for less than 30 bucks.

I'll re-iterate this one. While Fable was nowhere near what was promised, I had a great deal of fun for the 16 or so hours it took me to beat the game twice. The problem with Fable was simply everyone's expectations were so unrealisticly high (no thanks to Moleneaux I suppose) that there was simply no way the game could be anything but a dissapointment.

I'm the same way. Never got any of the hype, and loved it.

My little brother plays that game with me and I have to agree. It's really enjoyable and wacky. It's one of the few games that I would actually like to use the wii motion controls with.

I don't know what other people think of Pikmin so I'll say that.

Yeah, you might have misquoted me there... I didnt write that. I quoted a guy that wrote that, I asked him why he was talking about Breath of Fire like no one had heard of it... So yeah, I dont know whos fault this but i hope you didnt do this.

Halo, that's a given with me.

Otherwise again I have to go Otogi.
Both of those games received critical acclaim (having said that i think otogi sold about 12 copies worldwide)
