There is this kid at school (we have affectionally named him Fail Kid) who fails so much.

Two examples from today:

Teacher-" So the topics we will be studying in music over the next 12 months with be, 'An Instrument and it's repertoire', 'Music of the 20th and 21st Century', and 'Popular Music'. It will be really easy. Let's just take Green Day for example, now Fail Kid (the teacher did't call him that btw), would you say the guitar would be a good choice for the repertoire of Green Day?"

Fail Kid: "No, not really" (seriously, not as a joke)

Teacher: "Umm, yes it is, would you classify them in the 20th to the 21st century?"

Fail Kid: "Oh, half and half"
(Laughter)

Teacher: "Ok, and would you say they were popular?"

Fail Kid: "Naa"

Teacher: "Umm, yes they would, it's rock"

And-

Person in class: "Hey Fail Kid what's the capital of Paris?"

Fail Kid: "France, duh" (Again seriously)

So do any of you know anyone like this?

No not...wait. Yeah, actually there was this kid in my high school who couldn't for some reason not understand that everything he said was completely wrong. Kinda like the person your talking about. All he did was give answers that were completely backward's kinda felt bad for him but still laughed.

1. An opinion, maybe the kid thinks that a guitar wouldn't suit Green Day. I know some rock bands that only use bass and drums, and they sound fine.

2.Can't remember exactly when they started, but Green Day is a 20th and 21st century rock band, he answered "half and half", meaning they're both 20th and 21st rock.

3. Teacher didn't give pre-defined meaning of "popular", leaving student to give opinion on if they're popular.

Paris one was just a trick question that many people can get wrong.

There's a guy who goes to my school named Rodney. He's a fucking idiot. Two examples of his stupidity:

1. I was wearing my fedora to school one day a year or two ago, and he came up to me and said "I can tell from your hat that you're Jewish." (I am, but that's not the point.)

2. He was, up until a few days ago, completely convinced that sharks' only sense was the ability to detect blood. He thought they only had one, useless sense, as opposed to the six senses that they actually have.

Oh hey, 4000 posts! w00t!

yes. My friends (well, alot of kids beside them at my school, but my friends dont care when i talk bad about them) and I can have fail moments.

Here's an example that we still like to tell to make him feel dumb (which he should, dont pity him or tell me its wrong).

One day he forgot the key to his house. So, instead of logically waiting till his parents got home, or waiting with us till then, he just chucks a rock through the window, cuts himself on glass going through to get in, then unlocks the door for us and remembers there's a key in the -censored for privacy- near the fence. And of course, he breaks the windo that is "artsy" so he has to pay (semi) BIG money to replace it.

1. But guitar does suit green day, right down to the ground.
2.I probably should have been more specific, we are studying music from 1900-2000, so the beginning oh the 20th century to the very beginning of 21st
3. Popular is any music that is listened to a wide audience at a certain point in time. Green Day have sold 65 million albums, I would say that's rather popular.

And as for the Paris one, it's a pretty stupid answer to say France, it's not really a trick question, it's common sence.

Weak people - they bring others down to build themselves up.
He's not less intelligent, he just says stupid things.

We matched a musical in class once, 1776. It takes the founding of America and turns it into, well, a musical. I will never forget that obvious 'A' student and his stunning genius.

"So...did they really sing these songs?"

A couple weeks later, we were shocked to learn that he was back in Juvenile Hall for drug dealing. It depressed us all to think that the obvious successor to Albert Einstein would do such a thing.

People who did meth hardcore can be hilarious.

Examples:

"I need a hat, do you have a hat? I need to intimidate someone."
"Hey [REDACTED], does the top of that laptop remind you of Jumanji, like the game?"
"Have you ever seen a gas tank, like, on it's side with gas coming out?"
My friend: "Where do you get your ideas?" Meth guy: "I drive. I look into other people's cars and try to think what they want."
"Wouldn't it be cool if you could like move your ribs in the X-ray machines to say stuff, like in Morse Code? But you'd probably need to be Egyptian, like how they do mummies."

Calling him names, making fun of him, and including him in this thread - all things that are less than intelligent.
Yeah well, have your opinion.

There was this one kid that always said dumb things and he thought he was so smart so I never paid attention to him.

He was a big guy and he didn't like my friend because my friend would play around a lot...so in anger the big guy would yell out his name and say "SMASH!" after it and bang his fists on the desk...in all seriousness...he would go "NAME SMASH!" To get my friend to stop playing around...he thought it worked because my friend (all of us actually) would throw our heads to the table and die of silent laughter. I don't know I feel like this was a giant fail.

This happened like thirty times in the course of two months.
