And as for the Paris one, it's a pretty stupid answer to say France, it's not really a trick question, it's common sence.
Ask people What do cows drink? and count how many people say Milk instead of water.
Then ask people What do you put in a toaster and count how many people say toast instead of bread.

A girl from my university used to be super intelligent in class. I mean, she would ace everything.

However when it came to common sense, there was something missing:

SCENARIO ONE - Measuring out for the new sofa
Uni Girl "Okay, I make that 12 inches"
Me "Great, 1 ft"
Uni Girl "NOOOOO! I said 12 inches"
Me "Erm... 12 inches is 1 ft?"
Uni Girl "No it's not. That's stupid"

SCENARIO TWO - The tin opener
Me "oh, that's the door! can you just open these beans for me and I'll grab that"
Uni Girl "Sure! no probs"
*Two minutes later*
Me "Are you alright?"
Uni Girl "I don't know how to use this weird thing, it doesn't work"
*I go to use your standard tin opener, open tin*
Uni Girl "How on earth did you do that?"

Making fun of a seemingly less than intelligent person for their apparent lack of musical knowledge is pretty disgraceful.

Weak people - they bring others down to build themselves up.
I'm dreadfully sorry that most of the rest of us do not possess horses as high as yours.
Maybe you should let up a little, have a little fun some time?

We had a foreign student a while back called Yuri. Someone called him The Yurinator, and he liked it so much that he started getting people to call him it..

He never understood what he was doing..

Maybe you should think about how many kids kill themselves everyday because they feel isolated and picked on.

If someone needs to be made fun of for you to have some fun, you need to take a long, hard look at yourself.
Have you considered the OP? This isn't suicide level harassment. This is making fun for fun's sake. It's very different. If the OP was laughing about the kind of harassment that would drive someone to taking their own life, we'd all be like you in this thread.

However, they're not. So we're not.
And I don't need to make fun of people to have fun. I make fun of people, of things, of myself, all to have fun. So I have taken a long hard look at myself. I see no problems.

We had a guy in our class that when asked for examples of mythological creatures associated with death, said 'Terminator'...

I've got a new one! Only because it happened today at work.
Just to quickly set the context, this is only a temporary job and so I work with a lot of middle-aged, middle-classed women who all have 2-3 kids. It's a bit weird, but it's okay.

Anyway, one of these women was processing a credit card for payment for an order. Pretty simple, its just one of those card machines. It came up with declined. She stood there and went "oh, it's declined" and turned to look at all of us.

So people with common sense kind of realise that you need to tell the customer it's declined. But in this situation, it didn't happen. Cue 3 other women gathering around the spectacle, before coming to the conclusion of: "Oh, maybe it didn't work. Try it again"

7 attempts later, they've run out of paper in the machine. Now we've got the classic 'how-to-replace-paper-in-the-card-machine' scenario.

I'm just enjoying this. It's taken them 45 minutes and they've only just called the customer back, who hilariously, will now find 7 attempts on his card. And they've still not managed to replace the paper. I would do it, but... this is far too entertaining!

My friend, Kai, now never leaves his house. Ever. He was perfectly happy and healthy until highschool. A few people started making fun of him day in and day out for his less than average intelligence and he subsequently developed a crippling anxiety disorder. At first he simply became quiet. Then he started avoiding people. Then he started missing school altogether and eventually dropped out in year eight and had to be home-schooled. Go ahead, tell him it's all in the sake of fun.

Disgusting. Inexcusable. Pathetic.

How about laughing at things everyone can laugh at, instead of making someone feel shit about themselves?
Well then I'm very sorry to hear that, and I hope that one day your friend is good again.

However, you don't have to come into a thread and rain on everyone's parade because of a personal experience. For one, I doubt it'll change how the OP goes about his day.

And the way I make fun of everything, everyone knows it's a joke, as as I said before, I make fun of myself. However, the kind of fun being made of "Fail Kid" in the OP doesn't seem to be the same type you mentioned.
Sure, it has the same roots, but it's not as intensive. And I don't think "Fail Kid" even seems to notice.

Nope since calling a kid fail kid (nicknaming him that) because his thoughts are different then others is in no way harrasment or bullying .... /end sarcasm.

I am really disapointed in the people here. Like someone else said before i hope you feel really high and mighty and clever for asking a trick question to the guy.

As for guitar and greenday i prefer Iron Maiden for guitar parts much much more fun

So someone is not allowed to express her/his opinion if it doesn't agree with the topic. I call BS on that part. It might still be a forum where freedom of speech is balancing on a high wire we still do have that you know : Freedom of speech

/edit sorry for the double post

Ok so first off I think Bernzz had made it clear that this is in no way mean to be harmful to whoever 'fail kid' happens to be. I'm sure that he and anyone else who's commented on this thread are doing so AS A JOKE. It is not meant to be serious. If 'fail kid' were hurt or offended by this I'm sure they would stop and apologise for what they have done and that would be the end of it.

I think both you an Pirate Kitty need to calm down about this. Bernzz has simply tried to voice his opinion and you have shot him down in flames. Forgive if I'm wrong but isn't this supposed to be somewhere that you can say how you feel?(within reason of course)If you do not like someones opinion then that is ok and a simple retort is all that is needed.

I am sorry if I have offended or bullied you in anyway but it's just how I feel.

They might see it as a joke but does it feel like a joke to that kid. As someone else pointed out calling someone already "fail kid" amongst themselves is not a joke anymore but more ridicule and i find that highly offensive. Other people does do not seem to grasp the idea that what they see as joking can hurt and scar the other person. That person might not say anything about it but inside it might tear that person down to the ground.

I am indeed sorry i can not calm down if i see people treating others like that without them realizing what effect that might have on them. I do not have problems with people's opinion, i mean it would be a boring place if we all thought alike. What i do have problems with is what comes close to borderline teasing. The OP saying it isn't harmful to the kid but still saying he is referred to as "Fail kid" by people is not really convincing me (so to speak)
