"I saw this shirt in the young men's section at the clothing store. I started to read what it said, and when I got about half-way through the message printed on the front, I realized it didn't say anything. I felt stupid. Then I thought, "If I buy this shirt and wear it, then other people will stand there and read it and they'll feel stupid too." So I bought it and now you're standing there reading. You must feel really stupid."
I like that. Where'd you see it?

I have a shirt that says "I love animals" then underneath in smaller writing "They're delicious"

I found it funny at the time of purchase.

Great minds like a think is a cool one

I don't really hate messages on t-shirts because that's fucking retarded. There are better things for my hate to be put on.

I really hate the shirts that say 'Free Hugs', because you never get a hug off the person wearing the shirt.
I have a cool shirt that says, 'I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am', and I think it's funny.
I get pretty annoying though, because sometimes when a friend says something to me I go 'What?' over and over again.

I once saw a funny shirt that had a realistic picture of a squirrel holding a stick with acorns behind it. It read "guard your nuts!" It was funny.

Then I saw a crappy ripoff of it at walmart. It had a cartoon-ish squirrel with a stupid facial expression and hat cocked to the side holding two larger acorns on it and it said "protect the family jewels." It totally ruined the play on words and was retarded.

The best t-shirts I have ever found are on http://www.tshirthell.com/

Best: "I'm here to destroy this planet" with a picture of a claw hammer

Worst: "If all else fails, Ctrl, Alt + Del" - True as this may be, I think this joke has overstayed its welcome... That and I cannot recall any others.

Awesome: +1 shirt of protection or Swallow or it's going in your eye.
Annoying: I'm Hot/Princess for reasons other posters already mentioned.

I tend to forget the stupid ones.
One that I got a chuckle from was "AT-IT", featuring a pair of AT-ATs going at it.

Worst: "911 was an inside job". This is retarded because I live in Australia, where no one really cares who broke the buildings.

Best: my friend had a shirt with a ribbon and gift label printed on it. The label reads
"To: Women
From: God". The fact that my friend is gay makes it funnay and not lame.

So I don't about any of you guys but in my school I'm constantly seeing people wear T-shirts that have stupid things written on them to try and make the reader laugh. Now I will admit that there are some funny ones that make me chuckle a little, but most of them are just absolutely ridiculous.

So I'd like to know, what's the stupidest T-shirt you've ever seen, and whats the funniest?

Example: Stupidest- Probably the pink ones that say "Tough guys wear pink." Now I have no problem with guys who wear pink shirts, but when they have to announce it on their shirts it's just annoying.

Funniest- I'm not sure if their is one I think is funny, but if I had to choose, It'd probably be the one that says "How do you keep an idiot busy? (see back of shirt). Then when you look on the back it says the exact same thing only instead it'll say (see front of shirt)

So what about you guys?
No offense, but it just so happens to be that the one you listed as your choice for "Funniest" happens to be one of the ones I hate the most. To me it's a joke that's so old that it was probably printed on the first t-shirt that ever existed.

But don't get me wrong, I'm not looking down on you for finding it funny, it just happens to coincide with one of the jokes I hate the most.

But I agree with whoever said that Threadless t-shirts can be pretty classic. Those are the ones that can make me laugh out loud at times, but they're more visual gags rather than one-liners.

I got one for my birthday that reads:
"It was my birthday, and all I got was this stupid shirt".

I sometimes wear it, it's true and stupid...

My mate wanted to get a top that said "Sir Reality" on it. I thought it was decently witty.

Meanwhile, any shirt that alerts people to the fact that you're angry and bitter with a generally shitty slogan is bloody awful. Nobody likes a shirt that says "I hate people so much".

Yes, I'm an angry and bitter person (seriously, I am) but I want people to see that on my FACE, not on my SHIRT.

I also immensely loathe people who wear shirts with dumb-ass uber-feminist/slutty statements and pretentious non-conformist or pro-homo statements like:
- I'm gay! Get over it!
- Proud to be gay!
- I PMS 24/7
- Tell your boyfriend to stop staring
- You want this but you can't have this
- Cop a feel
- 9-pak
- I went to [INSERT EVENT HERE] and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.
etc

Nobody (who matters) cares what your sexuality is, nobody cares about your tits, nobody cares that you're proud to be a girl or a guy. Nobody fucking cares. Your thinly-veiled political statements aren't empowering or humourous, they're PRETENTIOUS AND ANNOYING. Piss off.
