Okay, so what were your thoughts when you played Fallout 3's. Me, here's what I thought.
I first went for the Operation Anchorage quest, and I thought it was pretty interesting, with an exception of the health and ammo system in the simulation driving me to have to run back to the last health dispenser every time I'm low on health. I mainly liked getting the Gauss Rifle and shocksword, as well as the winterized Power Armor, which for some reason, stayed permentantly in top condition at all times no matter how many times I was hit, wierd.
then I decided to go for Mothership Zeta, It was a challaging quest, especially when I had to fight aliens with shields that hardly respond encouragingly to a mini-nuke blast, but the upside, those alien epoxys came in handy, mostly when I decided to fight the aliens with my new plasma weapon, the Novasurge, which became my all-time favorite weapon.
I then encountered the Broken Steel villians when I rose to a high enough level. I first encountered the Feral Ghoul Reavers, who can take so many bullets to the head, you'd think there'd be nothing left of their heads. I then met with a Super Mutant Overload, they were as scary as heck, and seriously, I screamed like a girl when I first saw one, at least they have the courtesy to leave some healing items or mini nukes when they die. then there was the Enclave Hellfire Trooper, actually a good thing too, 'cuz I can kill them for their armor, which has more defense than the Winterized Power Armor I usually have on me.
But during the Broken Steel main quest, when I had to go enter the Air Force Base, I had to kill a whole lotta Enclave here, which was a little tense considering I ended up almost running out of stimpaks fighting them off, geez, their must have been hundreds of Enclave here, though I could be exagerating.
I then went to The Pitt, it was somewhat easier on me than the rest of the DLC packs, let's leave it at that.
I then went to Point Lookout, and geez those Tribals were sturdy, who knew they could pack such a punch with rifles and shotguns? and those mutant hill-biilies (I forgot what they were called in general, but I remember the Trackers and Brawlers), the quickest fight I had with one was a sneak attack on a Tracker with the Gauss Rifle.
Bethesta didn't hold back on the challenge, did they? I mean, All the DLC packs are good, their just insanely harder than I anticipated.
