Just wondering what threads, in any type of forum, people were people most outright tired of seeing each time they so much as look at a forum,
(For the love of god, dont try to be clever and say "this one," because it wont be funny since its so damn obvious. However, if you say it after I just said that it may be funny, becuase it would be seen as incompitence, which is always funny, because idiots just are. So, in summary, if you say "This one" you might get a cheap giggle from some kid in Wozbekistan or whatever, but youll be proclaiming yourself as a moron. Actually, Ignore that, Ive dragged it on so much even that wont be funny. Crap, where was I? oh yeah...)
Personnaly, im sick of seeing crap like "What defines a fanboy?" because the chances are if youve heard the term, its pretty likely you know what one is, so its a ham handed attempt at the writer trying to seem more than just some guy on a games forum. Which he is.

Pointless listing threads of something no one really cares about. The "What are you wearing?" thread is a prime example. No one is reading any of those posts, and no discussion is coming out of it. There's no redeeming qualities about it, yet it has 12 pages and counting. :/

I hate threads about what you find attractive/what you don't find attractive. OH MY GOD I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK IS HOT.

the threads that pop up every now and again, you've likely seen one or two

"Poll: Master Chief vs. (Insert random character here... 50% chance of being Gordan Freeman)"

The mods shut them down with great haste, but they still get on my nerves

The "1" vs "2" threads are annoying.
The "insults" threads is pointless.

I'm actually laughing, when someone got his thread locked and starts a thread for free speech. When you have the freedom of choice and CHOOSE to enter a society with rules. You have to follow the rules.

Same way for the forums.

What everyone else said, more or less. I'm still considering if this thread is meta enough to not be included and whether or not any meaningful discussion will come out of it.

Your on an internet gaming forum looking for a meaningful discussion in the off topic board? Christ, you have low standards.

Also, I thought it was pretty clear the purpose of this thread was that the 13 year olds who do the sort of things people here are speaking out against will click on this, feel really embarrased and scially awkward and stop doing it.
For example, if you walked past a room and heard someone commenting on how you picked your teeth or something, youd make special effort not to do it in front of them.

I think he's assuming that because we're gamers, so we have nothing else to talk about, and we're all ignorant man-children?

...13 year olds...
How the hell can you know that?
The people who start threads like that often don't even have their age in their profile. They are completely anonymous.
Hell, I'm gonna go start a thread about this...

Wow, Defensive paranoia nerd is defensive and paranoid
I retain my statement about 13 year olds, on the basis that if theyre not 13, then they act 13.
Thanks for proving me right.

Anyone whose ham fisted rants refers constantly to their own 'bile' usually can't make a decent topic. Oh and people who like preaching to the choir. Topics like 'VIDEO GAMES DON'T CAUSE VIOLENCE!!!111 OMG" annoy me because they're being posted on a forum with a 99% chance that everyone will agree with you. It's redundant.

Threads that copy threads already posted, due to the OP not using the search function? Oh and people who start threads that are clearly going to be locked withing 10 posts.

Decoy, I am pretty sure the forums you mentioned are made so the OP can feel good about there beliefs.
*Edit* Mine would have to be list threads.
