"Huh, oh." Well, it made sense she'd remember that. He'd just sorta been hoping she wouldn't bring it up. His cigarette had long since burned down and he'd been unconciously chewing on it. Realizing this he spat it out.

"Well, I was just tired and...I geuss I was trying to remember where I had seen you before. Which was...this morning." Relegating it to having just woken up was easier seeing as how it really didn't concern him and besides, it was mostly true as well.

He pushed his musings from before out of his mind. It wasn't his business and he was determined to keep it that way.

"uh-oh, snuggling with boys, especially boys 2 years littler than you. I might have to tell the commander." Scott said playfully.

 

[Kuroneko Aisha]

Mayu squeaked a little bit before saying. "P-please don't do that! I won't do it again, I promise!"

 

[MisterLillie]

"My lips are sealed." Scott made a motion that he was closing a zipper on his lips. "But you know, your a rocket now. If you was to do that you can, take what you want! Even boys."

Max, bored by the marching fell back along Caid. She smelled. Bad. Just another biker chick conscripted? Possibly. At least she seemed enthusiastic for violence.

"Where've you been biker? Why'd you join up?"

And can I trust you?

Caid looked over at the Rocket who slowed to talk to her. She saw some blue stubble where hair would go on his head and gave a little annoyed grunt to him with his rapid-fire questions.

"I been around. From Fuscia to Celedon'ta Saffron...The Riders had their turf well down. Personally, I joined 'cause I like fukkin' with the small-fries who came down th' road on their lil' red bikes thinkin' they're hot shit."

She spat on the ground to punctuate her thoughts.

"Ain't nothin' hot 'bout losin' yer Pokemon."

"What's that supposed to mean? Pokemon are just tools." said Max flatly. He was quickly deciding he didn't like this late addition to the trek to Lavander. Still, if Petrel and Proton thought sending the entirety of Yellow with reinforcements from Blue was needed... They'd need every body they could muster. What was going on in that town?

"Why are you with us now?

"What's that supposed to mean? Pokemon are just tools."

A quiet glare and an agitated sigh were the only way she felt like dignifying that quip with. She decided that it wasn't worth getting into an argument over while she was in this kind of mood, so she passed over that to his second question.

"Why are you with us now?

"'Cause I saw y'all after whatever shit went down in Celedon. Th' bossman told me'ta come with y'all, an' I did."

"I mean the Rockets. I know you came cause I told you to join up with us." said Max, irritated. What, she couldn't remember that?

Caid facepalmed and groaned. She KNEW she was forgetting something. Whatever was bothering her started to affect her memory.

"Shit, right. Gah, got a lotta fukkin' shit on my mind now...Well, I joined up when I ran up a pretty big debt'ta some people tryin'ta win a damn Porygon, an' needed some dough. Saw a recruitment poster that said I could make a buncha money an' bam, here I am. Needed th' cash, an' I get'ta push around brats again."

"Follow orders and you'll make your money." Max said, ignoring her groan. "Have you been with a large group before or just the raiding forces?"

"This is th' largest group I've been with s'far. Before this, largest group I've been with was five includin' me." Caid replied, rubbing the back of her neck.

"Well, the leadership in larger groups is far more organized. No looking for recruits, no sneaking around as much. The missions are harder and the punishments for failure are harder." he said, remembering the last time Alex failed an assignment. Seeing him snivel after a beating had been fun... At least until it was his turn.

"Steer clear of Alex if you can help it." he said, looking at the moon. It was a pretty night...

A cry of anger in the grass! Suddenly, without warning, there were Rattatas everywhere!

"Finally!" shouted Alex, throwing out his Primeape.

"Don't let them get near you!" warned Max, tossing out his bird Pokemon. It squawked and looked at him quizzically.

"Get them!" he pointed at a chattering Rattata, exasperated.

It dived in and got taken down by a rat almost instantly, rolling in the grass.

"I hate new Pokemon..." he muttered, tossing out his Zubat to join the fray.

"Yeah, wouldn't expect anythin' less." She replied upon hearing of punishments.

"Steer clear of Alex if you can help it."

"Yeah, I'll tr-!" Her words were cut off by the sound of angry Rattatas exploding from a nearby bush. She grinned and tossed out her Ekans. It hissed and slithered in place for a minute.

"Th' fuck're ya waitin' fer? Go on an' get 'em!" Caid ordered, throwing a thumb in the general direction of the rat Pokemon.

The snake hissed and darted into the grass, quickly coiling around one and stinging it with it's poison-tipped stingers shooting from it's mouth.

"Heh, that's th' spirit..."

Ellie fell behind to the back of the line. It was a good place if you didn't want to be bothered, as long as you made sure not to all behind. She stared up at the sky, out into space, really, but in that direction. Some time later, there was a shout of surprise ahead. Ellie ran right into the grunt ahead of her that had stopped dead in his tracks. Before she could try and excuse herself or look to see what happened, the taller figure had shoved her back.

A Ratata jumped at her face, missing only because she quickly swat it away. Fucking Ratatas At first her hand went to her Ponyta, then she remembered they were pretty close trees. Instead she hurled her Nidorina out. The blue pokemon didn't lose momentum as it hammered through the mice, throwing them left and right. It turned around to come back to Ellie, tossing another Ratata in the air with it's dull spikes, stomping another into the ground.

Where the hell had these Rattata's come from? Was the thought that ran through Leela's mind as she ducked as one of the little buggers jumped for her face. She threw out Machoke, who immediately went to work on the rats, who were unable to stand against the Fighting-type's immense advantage against their Normal-type. Leela herself continued to flip,slide, and dodged the Rattata's still leaping for her, she couldn't let herself get hit by one of those, they'd ruin her - more or less - clean Rocket uniform!

"What the hell is going on?" She said in a subdued voice whilst rolling away from yet another of the Pokemon,"Whose damn idea was it to go through this much tall grass?"

Alex came back running through swarms of rats, his Primeape clearing a path with a barrage of punches.

"Hey girl, I see you've got a Machoke! Good on ya!" he said, winking at Leels. He grabbed her and patted her head as the rat Pokemon circled the Rockets. The other grunts were holding them back fine and Max's Spearow finally came out on top of the Rattata it was facing.

"Isn't this just great! I love pounding the shit out of worthless pieces of fur! FUCK THIS IS GREAT!" said Alex. It seemed as if he was moments away from jumping in with his bat but even this crazed grunt saw the reason in letting the Pokemon do the hard work.

Max ended up by Ellie, pushed back by a surge of Rat Pokemon. Separated from his Zubat and Spearow, he sent out his Nidorino which started storming through the weak Pokemon without an issue. He noticed the Nidorina but mentioned nothing about it.

Keep it in your pants you idiot. More important things to do.

Mayu squeaked a little bit when Scott said that she would be able to take the boy, even if it were against his will. Pouting, she said. "I-I would never do something like th-eeep!" She let out an even louder squeak when they were swarmed by Rattata. Quickly releasing her Vulpix, she said. "Take them out Vulpix! Burn them if you have to!" Vulpix was eager to let out some flame finally and set off to attack with fire and tackles.

She also released her other two as well, and told her Rattata to engage the enemy physically while Koffing would blind the enemies with a smokescreen.

Ohoho. Mother fucking rats. This should be fun.

Dirk snarled as the group was set upon by the swarm of rattatas. The little biting nuisances were going to regret this. Rhyhorn roared and barreled into the mass of rats lashing out with stony limbs at anything within range. Dirk watched with satisfaction as it beat the crap out of the little bastards. So absorbed by the spectacle, he almost didn't notice a particularly ballsy rattata that was heading straight for his face. A quick sidestep saw it hurtling past him harmlessly.

Confident that rhyhorn was capable of taking care of itself he also released Voltorb into the fray. "Zap those fucking rats!" It didn't need to be told twice, speeding off and dilvering quick, debilitating shocks to as many rattatas as it could, attacking and then withdrawing to find another one to harass before they could retaliate.

"Hey girl, I see you've got a Machoke! Good on ya!"

"Thanks,"Leela said, a bit miffed over the fact that the guy had put her off balance for her next maneuver,"But it'd be a bit easier with these things i-" She jerked back, allowing a Rattata leaping for her nose, she supposed, and heading straight to Alex.

The Rocket didn't feel any reason to continue standing by the mad-dog, he was practically frothing at the mouth, and her health was more important than standing by her bosses boss while he groped her.

Machoke seemed to be fairing well against the onslaught of Rattata, despite them having the number advantage, they continued to be bowled over by her pure power. However, the wear and tear of the swarm would get to her eventually. That was something Leela had seen happen at the office building in Celadon, and she saw it starting here too.

To head that off, she rolled just underneath a swing and began pulling Machoke to the front of the group, where they might eventually be able to get ahead and away from the horde of Rattata.
