She nodded and laughed a bit at hearing all he had is Rattatas, patting the closest one of her Pokeballs to her left hand as well, the one holding her Ekans.

"Heh, yer pokemon are food fer my main one! But hey, I heard two real successful grunts out there have a Raticate that kicks some ass, so there's SOME hope fer ya."

She sniffed the air a bit, then looked down at his pants, the black front of them damp.

"...You not make it to behind a tree in time, man?"

Mayu had been following Wex, finding him interesting and full of information about the group. She wanted to learn as much as she could so she could improve herself. When Caid had mentioned his wet pants, she quickly piped up to keep him from feeling bad. "D-don't worry Wex! It happens to everyone! Even I sometimes have a bad dream that makes me do it!"

Wex could feel the blushing on his cheeks, facing the hill so that they couldn't see.

Caid had figured something scared him to piss himself, and was now just messing with him.

That sounds better than 'I got scared by another maniac'.

Scott quickened his pace, he needed to walk off the adrenaline.

"Yeah, some punk ass trainer. We dealt with him." Gloated Wex just as Scott was catching up with him. Scott brushed past the Grunt, intentionally bumping his shoulder. He continued walking without looking back.

Mayu was now following after them, not at all bothered by the strong smell. Giggling, she said. "Next time, ask some of us for help! Though, I would be really embarrassed if I got shocked like that too."

Scott coming up to brush against him didn't surprise him. Trying to intimidate and shit. Well, Wex had methods of getting back at those who hurt him.

"You're kind of young for a battle, don't you think?" he said absentmindedly, trying to avoid thinking about Scott choking him in his sleep.

Rocket's don't kill their own, they merely ship them down the basement...

Mayu shook her head quickly at Wex before saying. "Not at all! I might have gotten a spanking against those muscle heads, and got really beat up by that Silver guy, but I'm definitely getting stronger from it all!"

Wex looked at her closely and saw dried blood on her chin.

"Guess we better take Lavander without any issues then, not what like happened last time."

Yellow Team had captured a town once before. A tiny village called Rifure. It was mostly an exercise for future operations. Nobody got out and everyone who came into the town was captured as well. Rocket techs had come with them, practicing how to fake normal network traffic out of the town's Pokecenter terminals.

A weak village for a weak team.

"Guess we better take Lavander without any issues then, not what like happened last time."

Ellie made a face as she tried to remember anything about the Rockets trying to take Lavender. "What happened last time?" she wondered out loud, putting her hands in her pockets. The jog/climb was getting monotonous, but that wasn't necessarily a problem for her. Still, talking to herself, or to someone else, did block out the stupid conversations the other grunts were having.

"What, Green team messing up?" said Max. He had only been half listening to the conversation behind them as they forced their way over another steep hill.

"Oh yeah..." she rubbed her eyes and stifled a yawn. For once she was actually getting tired. It didn't help that she was already sore when they started the walk. "Well, we'll have more people to do the job, especially once we free Green Team. I wonder what'll happen to them. We might see another Enforcer sooner rather than later..." she mused. They had already been rotting in prison for a while, but that wasn't sufficient punishment for making themselves the laughing stock of the region.

"What was the Green Team doing before they were sent to Lavender, sir?"

"I wonder what the others are talking about over there..."
Dylan was in the back, far away from the others. He was very tired and he was slowing down to a crawl, but he didn't want to get lost again so he continued on walking. He played with his Rubik's cube to distract himself for a while. "God this is taking too long. Here's an idea, why don't we all just ride on our pokemon?" He muttered while walking.

Mayu overheard Dylan and giggled a good bit before saying. "I doubt a lot of them could ride their Ratatta. I could ride my Koffing, but only for a little.

Dylan paused for a while and laughed. "Yeah, that was a pretty stupid idea..." His mind wandered on about riding different pokemon, more specifically, about rapidash.
"Why doesn't a person get burned when they ride a rapidash? Or maybe they do get burned. I need to try riding one sometime. but where do I get-"
His thoughts were interrupted by a certain smell coming from his shoe.
"wait... don't tell me... shit."

"I'm pretty sure my Ponyta will throw me if I try to ride it..." Ellie muttered in reply. "But either way, the ground is really rough. The Tauros was useless on it. I imagine any pokemon that's big enough to ride will stumble. You could fly up there, but I'm sure a Ranger will shoot you out of the sky in a few minutes, and then they would find us somewhere near your body, which will have been crushed on the rocks. Probably the same thing if you try to ride something like a Ponyta, which is a mass of bright ass flames, except then we'll just get spotted. Your body on the rocks will probably happen after we fight them off." Stop complaining, the walk makes you stronger.

"What was Green team doing before they were sent to Lavander, sir?"

"Petrel had them doing some research on evolutions or something. They captured some Pokemon that were rumored to have different forms but they never did evolve. I think they once broke into a Pokemon lab near Fuchsia City but Koga drove them out."

Max imagined how Daren, the Commander of Green Team, would have reacted to suddenly having ninja trainers taking out his crew.

He probably shit himself. Daren was never clever and nobody can deny that after he was captured in a town without a gym.

The conversation turned to riding Pokemon. Max stayed silent. He had tried it once with his Nidorino when he was alone. Yellow Team alternated from being concentrated for missions to being spread thin for recruiting drives. He had been forced to go to a Pokemon center, accidentally poisoning himself on the Pokemon's barbs. It had been an exercise in stupidity.

Besides, hiking made you stronger.

"Are you guys getting tired? Wex, what are you doing back there?!" he demanded, watching the grunt wince.

"I could ride my Koffing, but only for a little."

"How do you manage that? Those things are dangerous too, they can get explosive." pointed out Wex.

Max shouted at him when he noticed he was dragging his heels. He sped up.

"I'm not tired, sir."

"Then move your ass, we only have a little while more to go and then we take the town."

Lavander. Never been there before.

Wex thought about Green Team and how it was run.

Maybe I can quietly join Green while Alex bats people and Max organizes the mission...

Mayu shrugged a little bit before saying. "I know that Koffing normally lets out bad gasses, but when I rode on it a while ago, I didn't smell anything bad at all. I guess somehow he decided to stop, or let the gas out of some other holes."

"What's the Green Team like, Lieutenant?" All the Teams seemed to have their own way. Blue was laid back: how couldn't you be when you were assigned to endless gold sand and crystal oceans? And Yellow was... well, they knew how to keep it interesting. "Do they just have one Commander and one Lieutenant too?"
