I'm gonna be a stupid purist and suggest that devs should spend more time making new games, not remakes that will never be as good as the original.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Its perfect as it is, but if it had prettier graphics... I dare to play with the thought that it might be even better...

That, or a Time Splitters 4. PLEASE Crytek, PLEASE!!

A remake of Cutthroats. Or Fallout and Fallout 2. Or maybe a remake of the original Command and Conquer: Red Alert, with a new AI and new graphics.

That's the thing you see, take FF7 for instance, I love that game not just for its story, but also for its chunky graphics, tinny music and lack of voice actors. Those things are part of the games soul and I think a remake would remove some of the key things I love about it.

Seconded

OT: I'd love to see The Warriors (PS2) get a next-gen make-over. As long as they didn't change the story and all the changes were cosmetic it would be the perfect game.

Don't you dare.

OT: I must be one of the only people that missed FF7 back in the PS1 days, if it was ever remade for the new generation of consoles, or hell even just ported to the PSP i'd pick it up just to give it a try.

Instead of remakes, I saw they redo nothing but the graphics. It can be an expansion pack or a PC release with programer-approved fan mods, plus some of their own. That way the graphics are fresh & absolutely nothing else changes.

Goldfinger, Grim Fandango, Morrowind, & FF7 are the games I would pick for a facelift.

I would say MGS, but as much as I loved going back to Shadow Moses in 4, it made me realise how small the game was, it would be ridiculously easy if remade ala MGS4's engine. If anything I just wish they'd let me explore more of it in 4.

I would LOVE the storylines of Fallout 1 and 2 in the Fallout 3 engine. Good God I hate isometric combat.

Actually, I'm going to change that. I'll let them keep the isometric combat if they re-release the games with a short tutorial telling you how to play the damn game.

Ah but the GC remake has far worse voice acting, and they all look a bit... weird.
