No, it's not prison.

Uh-uh, it's not Cyrodiil in a 100+ hour Oblivion binge; you won't be able to do that anymore.

It's time for school.

NOTE: I'm pretty sure somebody already made a thread about this; sorry for thread repeat. I just hate school so much that I felt obligated to make a thread about it.

Anyways, some people are already back in school and some of us (like myself) have to go back to hell prison school in a few days. The lucky ones get another week or so...

On a scale of one to Columbine, how much do you hate school?

for those of you who didn't bother with my little nugget of asshole, how much do you hate school, and why?

I hate it severely. I really, really hate it.

I can't wait to graduate or at least get my GED early (it's possible for "someone of my low academic standards" according to my guidance counselor. She meant basically that a dumb-ass like myself can get out of high school early).

Another Note: I don't sympathize with those that perform school shootings, I don't encourage school shootings, and aside from a few tasteless jokes here and there, I try not to joke about school shootings.

I disliked school. It wasn't a hatred or a loathing of any sort, just a mild to hot dislike of it. I'm glad I'm done with high school but I gotta return to college soon to finish getting my diploma.

I don't hate school. I actually enjoy it for the most part. The people there are annoying, sure, but all in all, it's definitely worth it.

I appreciate that I can go to school and get a good education, which a lot of people can't get, so I try to make the best of it and know that working hard will pay off in the end. But then again, that's coming from a big nerd who is 2 years ahead of his grade math-wise.

In Australia, my school term is almost over. It's two weeks until holidays.

So I'm in the opposite situation.

Although I do have a week of exams + a large assignment.

I'm looking forward to it. My summer sucked in comparison, plus I can see my friends again. It should be a good year, too.

I'm a few days from going insane. After Labor Day, what little freedom I have is gone. Part of me enjoys seeing my friends on a daily basis, but the dominant part of me usually beats the other part into a bloody pulp from roid rage.

Heh I had a terrible time in school, then I transfered in my final year to a school that respected its students and found out I loved school. Who knew? I miss the laziness of university though, oh those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end...

In high school, I messed up so bad I was put into a special class to make up missing credits. When I say "I messed up bad" I MEAN it. For the first semester of 10th grade, I had no clue what my 4th-6th period teachers even looked like.
Damn... I'm not that bad; but I don't believe I even so much as touched a single assignment last year.

The only time I every seem to get anything done is at school. On the other hand, I have deplorable social skills, so it's a mixed blessing.

Only Yahtzee is allowed to make jokes about school shootings. See Just Cause 2

Haha, you go to school :p

I don't go to school, so I laugh.

Ah, life is good without school. And honestly, most of the skills you actually need in life isn't taught in schools. Like managing money, balancing a checkbook, how to deal with insurance, ect. You know, the stuff you need to know to live in today's world.
